IPL and Bullet Proof Vehicles
by Rajesh Vyas on Mar 20, 2009 04:37 PM

IPL MCricket is rape of cricket anyway where the bowler has got the short end of the stick. If they want Bullet Proof vehicles, let them have as many as they want at their cost. Afterall they are raking up crores and crores. Let the taxpayer not pay these huge amounts for this Tamasha. The IPL should also ensure that they have their own security forces and not bother the Governments at Centre and State to carry this burden.

Is it really 80 vehicles needed? This is non sense. Calculation can come. if the security is needed means, we can give. But for these craps, IPL should not beg from GOVT. Have any body seen the buses of ISRO scientists. All those buses are from 1980.
The real great scientists are going in 1980 ISRO buses. But these peoples need AC/ bullet proof busses. If some one suggest that it is needed, then each and every ISRO scientist should be provided with Bullet proof Cars for their transportation.
More than all, these preprations clearly tells and means that India is more unsafe. But this is not true.

Pakistani media is also geared up to sabotage IPL...

Just go through the Article "Indian Premier League a Suicidal Event" on Articlesbase and Cricketnow. The author has created all the fuss to show India as the most unsafe place on Earth.

This is sheer madness! No amount of money can replace human lives. IPL should be postponed to after polls or cancelled.

Bullet proof vehicles do not provide protection from bombs. IPL should considering hiring armoured tanks from the army.

When none of the International player will be participating in IPL..what will be the future of this tournament...There is a serious threat exists that Pakistani Agency ISI would revenge for Lahore incidence and India's influence on ICC to corner Pakistan from staging International events.

We cannot force international players to risk their lives for our sake!!!
