If the senior players continue to play for 20-25 years, when will the youngsters get a chance to fulfil their dream ?? There are lot of potential players in India who wants to perform for Team India like S. Badrinath, Rohit Sharma and many more! When will they get a chance to rove themselves??
Kumble has done a great job in retiring, as he saw he was occupying Harbhajan's place as Amit Mishra is in full form in Test Match cricket!
We are very proud of Sachin for what he has done for the country, but we want a young team now which can be groomed for the world cup!

What potential ...Al youngester play at a time and it wil be a problem. Any team always has to have good mix of couple of very experienced , couple of moderate experienced, couple of freshmans etc...Those who have qulaity will sure play for 20 years. Bradman played till 40, Graham gooch , Sanatah Jayasuryaa ,miyandad were other few who played till late...Dont cry only on young , young tune...

Even the youngsters need a chance to prove their worth!

Boss dont put media dialogues!
The yardstick should be same for all players! No player comes before the team or the nation! You seem to be a fan of Sachin like me. But tell me how many 50's and 100's has he scored in the last 2 years?? If you a cricket fan you should be able to tell me! he has scored no centuries in the last 2 years!
Young players need chance now, buddy.
Team India does no more depend on a single batsman today! Today everybody is performing! The cricket which is played today is fiercely competitive and is very different from the one when sachin used to win matches for india single handedly.
But today as a team of youngsters we are doing an excellent job! Hats off to Team India!

SAPTARSHI You have to enhance ur thinking aility..You asking how many 50, or 100 Sachin did since last years. Think the ratio of Matches playetd and 50,100s made.Sachin has highest than any other one with good SR. Lats 2 years he was mostly out so had lesser 50,100 YEARWISE. but when he is back ..he is again playing good. Sachin knows better than anyone how todays cricket has changed etc etc ...Only younge ppl can not handle anything..they just go and try to play fiecefull, It looks attractive but it doesnt work all the time. There is somethign called Strategy. younge ppl are lacking in it. Every team in the world has couple of experienced players and yes they need to be there. So stop crying young young tune now
