who ever bats first will win the world cup, its pressure to score the scores in second innings will make it difficult. Both the teams have good spinners which will make very difficult to score
Guys what difference one good player can make to the team. The inclusion of Razzak has spured the pakistan team. I wish to say that some times i do belive that though cricket is a team game but one good player can make a big difference. Sachin had been doing the same in the early part of his career for India. Its just a thought. Pls no Sachin or any player bashing.
Sachin can score 30 ball century if he wants. But he is not interested in that because he always plays according to the situation taking into consideration the team's interests. That's why he has played a lot of match winning innings.
I think rediff is going overboard with Afridi here.......he plays one such innings in may be 20 matches.......and they r saying afridi has rolled back his career.......disgusting....
We love the way Pakistan plays cricket in pressure. Its the most unpredictable team in tis world... It can win in hopeless situation & it can lose from excellent position...
I have always been a fan of afridi... Sehway is no match for him... Viru is peanuts in front of the great LALA

Oh shanti Afridi has played this innigns after 5 years. I have seen him dozens of time getting out in first ball. How selfish people you are. Afridi batting is fluke having no technique. Little knowlege is dangerous in your case. Compare match winning records of Sehwag. I will not even include Afridi in minows team like Kenya, Scotland. He is like street cricketer.
When pakistan is pushed back, they come back with the cornered tiger mentality (Imran Khan comments in 1992 world cup to play like cornered tigers) Afridi has that mentality. The team which has a total new look with afridi and younus khan being the senior players is shaping up. With Imran Nazir, Asif and Yusaf coming into the side, Pak can become a formidable side once again. Things look good for pakistan, they came with nothing to lose and are in finals much like in 2008. Lets see what they can do. Wasim Akram's revelation the left arm 17 year old rookie Mohammad Aamir is a good propest as well. Would be a great final, considering pakistan unpredictability any thing can happen, on their day the beat the best team of the tournament. good luck
