It is so silly to see a write up from rediff that there is no player from the south in the playing eleven of India T20 at this year world cup. PRAGYAN OJHA ... when did he transfer to north.. i guess they have more detail on him then we readers to...
or may be HYDERABAD is no longer in the south zone of india.. may be it shifted to NORTH or WEST or... WOW Rediff thanks for this latest update....! Dont just create articles for the heck of it..
Read only the first page and one gets a feeling this was created just to get the msg board going... nothing else. Why there is a need to bring regional stuff into this? - but is a well known fact (remember John Wrights words) there is regional tension while selecting fringe players

C'mon dont be so rude to the North. It is not their fault. When the MOghuls raided North, they showered their attention, love, passion and 'seeds' on fair skinned women. Moghuls heavily discriminated against dark skinned women and did not reward them with seeds. When North discriminates against dark skin, they are only saluting the glorious days of Moghul conquest when they were 'seeded' by Moghuls.

Can you please stop using this communal divide like a regional party politician. Think as an Indian if you need to progress rather than spreading communal agenda.
The author is a pervert concentrating on racism rather than cricket when world cup is on. There are lot of good players like Badri, Balaji, Uthappa it is only a matter of time when will be selected again.
It is important now to wish whatever selected for India to win rather than publish this kind of garbage
Aside, who cares if there are none from the south. Theres always articles about including yuvraj in the test team ahead of lax,an even though he fails a lot of the time in tests.
Who is dhoni seeing? Article mentions that he might be seeing an actress from the south. I am sure that she isnt telugu lol since we have no native actresses & no one from karnataka films are known. Either tamil or kerala.
It is the Indian Cricket Team that is selected to play an international tournament and our cricket fans cheer for team "India" and not individual regions. Articles like these will only steer regionalism.

Be it a South or North, Indian Fans always wants its team to perform well. Redifffffff Plz don't do divide and rule policy.
hey raju...why are you targeting north indians in general? There are bad people everywhere, in every corner of the world. this forum is about cricket and selectors. if you have a point against any selectors or anyone who you felt was biased, write it. otherwise we cannot be making generic statments like north is bad. Thats only going to provoke our brothers
I am sure srikkanth would not be biased like some of the west zone selectors. Remember the cricketer who tortured and r-a-p=e=d indian cricket (Agarkar). The whole india was burning seeing his performance (except some biased west zone fans/selectors) but he still got retained in the team. Dhoni came and where is agarkar now? he has been asked to roam around VT, Juhu etc.. Team is well set now, dont write such foolish articles and create a disturbance among the public, team.
