I just want to knowthe name and location of the illiterate person who wrote this article. I am sure that u r not an Indian bec u r neither sensible nor gentle. Rediff just forgot that nwdays people read the news on net while working but dueto this shameful and pathetic article which divides India inti pieces must have demoralize and upset thm. Rediff did this just to increase the net traffic and attraction but forgot that this is India which is still democratic and humanity is alive. Warning:- Remove thia article that would be better else u knw wat I mean!!!
Moral- Please avoid this type news as thy just play with the sentiments of people and people like Raju takes advantage of this.
i feel sad when we hear south indian & north indian.i am from bangalore & idon't feel any partition mindset we are all indians who have tallent they deserve place in any field.

This is very pity areticle and does not deserve any comments, why cant u ask for SC/ST reservation in team and you can ask for Muslim reservation also.

apart from zonal reservation. then we would be the only team with 16 players in the playing eleven, coz they hv to keep atleast 1 player from each category.

simply can't believe that such nut heads and irresponsible guys work at Rediff. Yesterday, you took off the article (Southern Comfort) and today, it's back again despite so much of criticism from your readers. Apparently, you stupid blokes at Rediff care a f...k for what the readers feel. It is Media guys like you who encourage divisiveness in India by publishing such brainless articles. Apparently, you idiots at the sports desk are clueless and totally insensitive to the reader's feelings. Bums like you should be given some education and a workshop in responsible journalism. If you have no better story to publish, then go home and chill out.

What difference does it make? As long as the team is from India and in form any player can be selected. We have more than twice the number of states, compared to the number required to make a team. Do we have to select one player from each state to be fair to all states or should the criterion be the form of the players?
I really feel pity on the comments either on Northern players or Southern players, both sides are Indians. I urge all cricket fans to avoid this demarkation in the games. Our politicians have already divided the Indian society on vote-bank so at we the citizens should be away from it.
We love Sehwag,Tendulker or Sreesanth. We love our cricket team if loses complete India is sad and anguished and if it wins again the complete India cheers and enjoy.
We have to look beyond North Indian-South Indian tussle otherwise someday some one will ask for Central Indian case.
