dhoni
by Abhi s on Jun 11, 2009 03:24 PM  | Hide replies

Now as dhoni has been sucessfull as captain
many idiots who think that they have played 100 plus tests for india in this forum r being sarcastic against dhoni
its not easy to handle media,ur own performance and team's performance
its very easy to bark in this forum abt any particular player
go and make 1 run in INTL cricket, ur doubt of being a graet cricket analyst will be over for ever
some fools say that he is being POLITIC
i am no dhoni fan
but its foolish to say that dhoni is a politician
no captain does politics with his team
after all the captain knows that if the team fails then he is gonaa be the 1st one to be kicked out

This Idiot doesn't even know that past captains are gone due to their poor batting performance or other reasons instead of Team failure and he is talking cricket here...

Following statement quoted by somebody sometime back:"this great politician might have thought he would get a 50 facing weak bowling so that he can show some runs at the end of the tournament."
From where did you know that he is under pressure to show some runs against his name?

Oh...I got it..DHONI is the son in law of BCCI commitee and all other members of the team management. That is why despite knowing everything, they are bound to obey him.

Grow up, He is THE Captain and the games are low risk with weak opposition and the team is in commendable position by then, big hitters like Yuvi, Raina , Yusuf lined up in the wing,
and here you think the captain should be the son in law to take a decision to come one down in this situation and get it approved.....great logical thinking...

Why you all guys are fighting each other ?
by Asim Mehtani on Jun 11, 2009 03:23 PM  | Hide replies

Why you all guys are fighting each other ? The problem is that everyone thinks that he or she is more intelligent then others, and all have become cricket experts. All you guys are more intelligent than Dhoni, who does not anything about Cricket, and has to learn lot of things from you all guys. He is being a captain of India by default.

Agree with you 100% Asim.People ridiculing Dhoni as a good captain think that they know better than him and the rest of the team management. He has become the most successful Indian Captain by chance.

Dhoni batting ?
by Srinivas G on Jun 11, 2009 03:04 PM  | Hide replies

Dhoni never had any good batting technique, either he pushes the ball around and run for very quick runs or agricultural slogs which are very good for Indian pitches....he should have given the chance to bat for Raina and yusuf in the first 2 matches so they will get used to the conditions, but us usual this great politician might have thought he would get a 50 facing weak bowling so that he can show some runs at the end of the tournament.

then stop politicising this forum
no captain does politics with his team
after all the captain knows that if the team fails then he is gonaa be the 1st one to be kicked out
and SOUTH INDIANS have a tendency to disparage captains from other states
SOUTHEE JOURNOS like RAJAN BALA and many more r best examples

I guess we are talking about captains and team failure, I thought Dravid had given up captaincy stating the reason that his batting has gone down and he want to concentrate on it..
