@ thomas, you speak of being ipartial, but you cite other communities and deepen the divide you seek to close - sparking off a worse debate!

CV Raman a Kannadiga!! I am not here for a regional war, but get your facts right before you write. Google for his name and find what comes yourself.

hmm, thomas, i dont know why a single line in kannada can spark off a debate, just ask for a translation or ignore it. afterall - if rediff allows multi lingual posts it should be fine for others. when i see a hindi or a tamil post, i just whizz past it!

I'm not a gulatee or golati or whatever, you fking moron. Yes I'm from Hyderabad but you kannadiga morons can think whatever you like.
The gen next of commentators are ready. Time for Gavaskar, Arunlal to hang their boots. Gavaskar especially. He speaks like a supporter. Sometimes his sense of humor cannot be enjoyed in television. Especially when he mocks an westindian player or tries to sound like English.
Please please replace him. As far as Arun lal, sivaramakrishnan the less said the better. Ravi shashtri is bearable. But, he should guard against overbearing listeners. And Harsha.. please stop being kiddish. You are a great commentator.. dont try to change ur style.

by Ideal on Jun 05, 2009 03:14 PM
May i know, what made u say that? I still stand by my comments. You should watch gavaskar speak when Dwayne bravo or dwayne smith speaks. Or during IPL the remarks or funny statements he used to make which was not funny at all.
I will be happy to take my comments back, if u can prove me otherwise. We hardly know each other for u to make a statement that my sensory signals are weak.

True, this old timer's are the same old with thier attitude...they do commentry for themselves, we need commentators like Jagu,Anil, Venkat, Robhin singh-! We this India is defeintly heading for a change

replace sivaramakrishnan he thinks he is a legend n gives batting tips to greats like sachin n dravid. let me know how many balls has he faced in international cricket
The very best to you, Kumble, the great cricketer. I am sure, like in your academic qualifications and cricket, you will excel in this area also. Of course it is a challenge thrown upon you, which I am sure, you will be able to face with lot of confidence and hard work. All we know you are fighter and you will be in a better position to shoulder the responsbility and accomplish the task. Add to this you have a flair of talking english and know the subject. Best wishes to you once to you - the gentleman cricketer - once again.
no doubt a great cricketer, kumble is unfortunately not amongst the most articulate of people. hope he gets over this problem and does well behind the mike as well.
Most of us are glued to the television sets during the time of matches,be it IPL or internationals. As far as i'm concerned,Harsha Bhogle scores the most number of points. He's got variety in his vocabulary(not surprising considering his IIM-A background),sense of humour and cricketing knowledge.Fantastic for a person who hasn't played cricket. As far as the worst,Sivaramakrishnan takes the cake. Not once in my life have I heard commentary more pathetic than his.Whether its his sterotyped words like "beauTTTifully played",or his fake appearing enthusiasm,he's unbearable at times.

1.Aman Sawant 2.Paritosh Moolgaonkar (LMAO) 3.Bhasmasur Rakshas As soon as I blew away the whistle to everyone that you were bhasmasur rakshas, you logged in with your original id.Caught.Original?tell me what else is fake about you besides id.Gender? Oh and by the way,if you are to choose fake nicknames like these, why not try some better ones?..These names sound like fish-sellers..

Trying your best not to get frustrated eh?Still you supplement those LOLs?Hmm..they don't work dude. They only make you appear like a cow.

Cos i happened to be lurking in these blogs...Aman is a good blogger friend of mine for 2 years now....we are in touch!! And who is Partitosh?? I have seen him in these blogs only when a economic blog opens up......
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Harsha

Finally,if you've no answers to my question than these 10 year old kid like abuses, then refrain from trying to convince me against anything.I won't listen to you.Is that clear?I don't derive sadistic pleasure in writing "Hey you mofo".."Hey you this".."Hey you that"..If you've got a problem with my views, just forget about it cos you won't be able to do anything about it.Just don't whine more.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Harsha
by Bhasmasur Rakshas on Jun 05, 2009 03:59 PM
Then don't burden these blogs with your adult contemporary mediocrity....
If you come across as smart alecky and contemptuous in your writings about people, communities and there is a personal tinge to that writing, you will have to face the brunt of equally caustic replies...
You can always present your point of view without being insultinga and contemptuous....
If you talk of dumping people into the Arabian sea, you will obviously encourage a ractionary spiral....
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Harsha
by Sarthak Sharma on Jun 05, 2009 03:59 PM
Well stop trying to be more fake, you used these 3 ids and try to act smart with me.I'm not interested in knowing your views, and you should have tried harder in logging in as Bhassmassur a little later so it wouldn't have been obvious. You blew it.Anyway, whatever message you wanted to convey by replying to my pos has failed. In the future don't just poke your nose everytime.I never do that cos i'm not bothered what you think.I hope you reciprocate. And not waste your and my time.Don't unnecessarily try and speak to me,i'm not interested.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Harsha
by Sarthak Sharma on Jun 05, 2009 04:04 PM
But nah i'll keep doing that. But what I will not do is try and talk to you when you're not interested.Don't do that. When I told you I don't want to talk to you..don't give me advice.I don't need it.If you agree to it,then just follow it.If your aim is to try and tell me what I should do and not do,then forget it.That won't happen. So no point in talking to me when I don't want to.
All the Best to Jumbo. With around 15 yrs of international cricket experience and achiever Anil Kumble would be a good cricket analyst for sure. All the best for new venture.
It is wonderful to watch Anil in his new role. We are sure he deserves. In fact BCCI should have made him skipper long long back. He is educated, mild, well-behaved and cultured. He is an intelligent bowler and a captain. He could be the only person in Indian cricket who is not involved in to dirty politics even distantly. We wish to see him for long times to come in one or other role. It was nice that he is made skipper of Bangalore royals. We wish him luck for his new role. We are proud of you Anil!
Ru nuts if these two are not gud at commentry then WORLD CRICKET has never had good commentators. They have got good communication skills, great vocublary and dialect, good knowledge of cricket, precise words and respect from whole world cricket fraternity and at least 1000times better than those crap Sri Lankan awful commentators who r so very boring
