The worst two commentators in the world. Even when they are commentators, they prefer to talk high about a few of their chamcha players. Aslo if you notice, Shastri has the worst evil eye. The moment he says someone is playing well, the player gets out.

Ru nuts if these two are not gud at commentry then WORLD CRICKET has never had good commentators. They have got good communication skills, good knowledge of cricket, precise words and respect from whole world cricket fraternity and at least 1000times better than those crap Sri Lankan awful commentators who r so very boring. When these Ranjiot Fernando n all speak feel like sleeping

I can understand your need for gavaskar...But why Ravi Shastri...He's the most banal and one dimensional commentator ever.

Shastri is 100 times better than Ranjit Fernando. He is the most biased commentator in the universe. He always brings the "Sri Lankan point of view" into everything

ravi shastri had only one shot up his sleeve. the shot he used to play as a glance towards leg side. if not due to the blessings of gavaskar this person would not have prospered. but after leaving the game he talks as if he is an expert. i am not that young that ravi shastri's game i have not observed. when he now becomes expert then really it amazes me

Many of these players have so much soft skills unleashed, never noticed. TV channels normally pick the best of the retired players, hence need to wait and see how Saurav and Anil do this as they are not known to be very talkative in public. Ravi shastri is a classic example and has really shined even more in anchoring roles than with B&B. Sidhu is another one is mind blowing in TV shows . I have had a chance to see Sidhu and Kapil Dev on stage , Dev pikced up a lot of English and did well .
I prefer ESS over all other sports channels for Cricket as they have a superb commentary team and especially Harsha Bhogle is very good at moderating things.
Anil Kumble is a genuis and a cricketing legend unfortunately he has not been given his due for whatever reasons. He is in the same league as a kapil dev or a sachin tendulkar. Apart from cricket his is a dynamic leader which he proved in sydney test and the IPL-2 good luck to him on his new Endevour
