What you sow, so shall you reap !

1. Symonds was given not out three times wrongly on his way to making a century.
2. Dravid was given out to a ball which he didn't even touch.
3. Clarke claimed a catch off Ganguly when replays showed that he had grassed it.
4. Ponting tried to claim a catch of Dhoni that he had grounded.
5. Dhoni and R P Singh were given out LBW under extremely dubious circumstances.

There was not a word from the Oz media about umpires being sacked, Lack of using TV referals, technology failure etc. Now when the boot is on the other leg, they whine !! Grow up ! Be ready to taste your own medicine !!

Thanx for making an excellent point that the Australian team still calls the English victory a Hard and Fair game.... :)

Perhaps the Indian team and BCCI can pick up a few tips in terms of how to conduct themselves post match.... :)

What'ver happened in sydney 2008 they called it hard cricket. Now call it as soft cricket. Prooving that they are bad loosers.

Who is calling it a soft cricket?.... Ricky Ponting?
Or Cricket Australia who is threatening to pull out of the Ashes series?.... :)

I rest my case...

;-).... By the same logic, the Indian players and BCCI who made such a big hue and cry after Sydney 2008, should also Grow UP!!...
Wouldn't you say the boot is on the other leg as far as gracefully accepting defeat is concerned?.... ;-)

SHAMELESS AUSTRALIANS ONLY ARE MOST SELFISH PEOPLE IN THE PLANET
by rumwhisky on Jul 20, 2009 05:59 PM  | Hide replies

When one mistake, which the cheap australian press presumes has gone against them they call it foul, what about the Ind/Aust. Match when we went there last when the Black Umpire who was paid to give wrong decision was hailed as a hero, these australians can't stand others success

;-)....

Bucknor was paid = a Crime

Koertzen is paid = a big victory?....

Curious.... :)

BTW, neither umpire was paid.... they made mistakes and the press called them off (remember the Indian press?..)
But what is really interesting is the reaction from the Aussie team and CA after Lord's match... hope our team and BCCI can learn a thing or two from them.... :)

Austrlian media's memory is like Aamir Khan's in Ghajini
by Chirag Sangani on Jul 20, 2009 05:49 PM  | Hide replies

It seems that Australian media has a very short memory or is suffering from the same problem that Aamir Khan was suffering from in Ghajini. Short-term memory loss.

Don't they remember what Ponting and his men did when India was in Australia in 2008. Ponting was clearly shown pointing his fingers as out on TV inspite of the fact that umpires thought it was not out and also forcing the umpires to give Indian batsmen out. Ponting also claimed a catch which even he knew was not there as the ball had clearly touched the ground.

Now when Oz team is getting what they gave to others and what they rightly deserve, Oz media have no right to point a finger to anybody.

It seems that the real thing is Oz media cannot digest defeat and when their team losses, they start blaming others for their loss rather than looking for their own faults.

Curious that you didn't point out that the English press hasn't written anything about the Koertzen and Doctrove episodes?.... :)

Aus racist's did the same thing to all other teams when they used to travel to Aus, example was 2008 series with india and so many

Good that they r getting it back, U get what u do. it is known fact that Aus team in Aus win matchs with 13 players. No need to make a big issue of bad umpiring u aus media

There have been innumerable matches in which the ozzies have benefitted by umpiring decisions, some of whch have been glaring and which defied rational. So now it their turn to face the music. Jimbale Jimbale

Let the australians come to know the pain of loosing a match due to bad umpiring. Many decisions have gone in favour of them in the past. Hats off to umpires..

And let our fans and cricketers and BCCI come to know how to be dignified in defeat instead of twisting arms and kicking out umpires by blackmailing the ICC.... ;-)

Comparing Ponting to Kumble for post match comments, and CA to BCCI in shooting threats all over the place, I am completely in agreement with you about your comment.... :)

ICC should made mandatory , Bucknor as Umpire whenever Australia is there.
If Bucknor is unavailable , then Australia should be given match before toss

;-)... considering that CA hasn't called for the neck of Koertzen, your comment is truly childish.... :)
Perhaps we Indians should cry off before toss if we don't get a signed guarantee that we are going to win... :)

Bad Losers!!

Get the taste of your own medicine you Aussie crying babies!!
The world around has suffered some most ghastly decisions both by Umpires favouring Aussies in the past and pathetic Aussie coaches who have single handedly destroyed careers of Indian star cricketers - you deserve it Aussies - learn respect to gain respect!!
