I once in a while come and read... but you seem to answer every and reply promptly.... for that I say keep it up. Thanks rediff, giving some useless work to this fella...hahahah
when he questioned aussie's origin. Potting's comment proving RANATUNGA was right.Again and again i am telling that potting is over,he and his team lost midas touch. During India's visit to oz they were confident, now they r overconfident.

I have answered your above question, but you still haven't answered which "Potting's" comment are you referring to..... :)
If you too - like 99.9% people on this forum - are forever banished to some 2-3-5 or 10 years back in time and are struggling to come back to 2009, let me know.... maybe I can help... :)
I guess this will be the last series of Mr. Ricky Ponting atleast as a captain. And I am very happy to see them lose this test match.....congrats Strauss!
u feel good when it goes in your favour, feel deprived when it goes against u. Potting & aussie media probably forget sydney test. Aussie if think u r world champ.. than behave like world champ. There is a lot of difference between Waugh & Potting. Waugh never ever tries to force umpire to change decision, he was one who build aussie team, during his tanure aussies behave like champion.

Kindly update us about Ponting's comments on Lord's 2009 Ashes test?.... :)
I presume he cursed everyone, called everyone cheats, and asked that Koertzen and Doctrove be banned for life from umpiring.... and Cricket Australia backed him up with their blackmailing tactics on ICC, I presume?.... :)
now aussies know how painful if you loose by umpaires bad decisions.this is same thing happening over the years to all the teams against australia. this is your time to get the sour taste .enjoy now close your all body holes and sit silently best of bad luck to australia

;-).... wow.... that was a superb message.... Ponting will sure love to take your advice.... Which I notice he already has (and got some spontaneous loud cheers from the English cricket fans in the crowd as well)... So once again, thanx for contributing your exceedingly informative contribution to this forum.... :)
Sydney: Australia should immediately sack its arrogant and abrasive captain Ricky Ponting and it’s a surprise that India has not called off the tour and gone back home, well-known cricket columnist Peter Roebuck has said.
Lambasting the members of the Australian side for their rude behaviour, Roebuck, the former Somerset captain who is based in Sydney, singled out Ponting and said the captain must be sacked.
“Beyond comparison it was the ugliest performance put up by an Australian side for 20 years,” he wrote in his column for 'Sydney Morning Herald'.
“The only surprising part of it is that the Indians have not packed their bags and gone home. There is no justice for them in this country, nor any manners,” he observed.
He said the lack of sportsmanship among the Australians hurt their young fans and former players alike.
“Pained past players rang to express their disgust. It was a wretched and ill-mannered display and not to be endured from any side, let alone an international outfit representing a proud sporting nation,” Roebuck wrote.
According to him, Ponting and his men had embarrassed Australia through their triumph in the spiteful second Test. “The notion that Ponting can hereafter take the Australian team to India is preposterous. He has shown not the slightest interest in the well-being of the game... Not a single mark of respect for his accomplished and widely admired opponents.”

Man, agreed that Autralia are "World Champions". West Indians were also world champions, b ut they were the "Respected" world champions by all the teams, and not the "most hated" champions like the Aussies.

;-).... I know it is hard to digest losing 3 wickets in one over to a rank part time spinner.... But I am sure we will get over that in due course of time.... BTW, whether respected or hated, world champions are world champions.... you can't claim that McEnroe was a foolish player compared to Federer or even Bjorg.... can you?

Since there was nothing rude, ugly or bad about Ponting's behaviour in Lord's 2009, I trust you will consider him as a champion even though he lost the test, right?.... :)
There is lot of difference between the two 'incidents'. In this match there were two umpiring 'errors' which were simply error of judgement and not motivated to bring defeat to any team.
Whereas in Sydney, all acts were motivated to increase the continuous run of Test Wins by Australia to match existing record and create a new record.
Australian player 'CLAIMED' a bump catch, fully aware it is a bump catch. If you had watched the last 2 hours of the Sydney match, you would have seen how low Australians and Steve Bucknor stooped to steal a win. Otherwise the match was heading for a draw. Umpires were 'FORCED' into errors by Aussie tactics. So Indian reaction at that time was FULLY JUSIFIED AND WARRANTED. Just keep in mind what happened in Next Test, where India was supposed to be defeated soundly, but wnet on to win. Without foul tactics and Bucknor, Aussies were reduced to club cricket level.

;-).... So Strauss's "CLAIMED" catch was a mere umpiring 'error'?.... good to know..
Also good to know that the Sydney test was heading for a draw, but we Indians graciously gifted the last 3 wickets in one single over and managed to lose the game.... :)
And if Indian reaction to remove Bucknor was justified, I hope you are now praying that Cricket Australia should call for Koertzen's scalp, right?.... :)

Hey AP, Eventhough Strauss held Bump Catch it is Rudi's mistake by not referring to third umpire where as in sydney test Ponting said it was a catch and he convinced the umpires.
Accept the defeat and don't complaint about the past.

If you have been following cricket, you would be knowing that it was not for the fist time Indian Team was at receiving end of Bucknor. Rather it was the ' Nth' time . It is clearly established that he has been prejudiced against Indian Team. We all are entitled to our opinion about Indian Team, particularly, but a person who is in a'JUDGES' seat should not allow his judgement to be influenced by his pre-judices. But this was exactly what Bucknow was doing. Indian team took stand against Bucknor, after he had crossed all limits of partisanship.
What ever happend was fantastic I hate the OZs. There media is a piece of shit where were they when Indians were Being hit. They just feel what ever they do is right thats it. I am hoping England win the series and end Pontings cricketing Carrier.

Since you wanted Oz media to write when Indians were being hit, then you obviously also want the English media right now to write against Koertzen's poor decisions too.... right?.... :)
