Venkat had his onw share of erroneous decisions and I asked him in a cricket site and he accepted it.It was the Worldcup semi finals - Aus Vs WI in Mohali (1996)... two or three decisions went against the West Indies. I will not fotgive Venkat for ages for those errors in such an important match.

Aussies on the receiving end.

How does it feel now that they are on the receiving end. That old man Steve bucknor gave many decisions against India which test India eventually lost, due to umpiring blunders.Oz media did not raise their fingers and conveniently kept quite.

Now that they are being given back a dose of their own medicine, they are crying. anyways aussies have always been abad losers.

;-).... look who is speaking... . ;-)

Did Ponting say that only one side was playing in the spirit of the game?.... :)

He just shrugged off things beyond his control and promised to regroup better in the coming matches....

Nor did CA ask ICC to sack Doctrove and Koertzen...

Does it give you any signal about who is a bad loser??

These same Aussie media were ridiculing Indian players after Sydney fiasco and had called them sissies and losers....

Now what are the Aussies doing?? Is the shoe on the other foot now??

But you did make a good point to bring our players and BCCI's behaviour in stark light through your comment... ;)

What was Ricky Pontin doing after the cardiff drawn test? If that is not called crying, then needd to check whether there are different terminologies for Aussies.

So you agree that Ponting behaved splendidly after the Lord's test which we all are discussing at the moment?

Thanx... that's the point I was making....

BCCI too needs to learn something here though, I must say.... don't you agree?... ;-)

Crying at one location and not crying at one location, does this make Mr. Ponting a great? And I never agreed that Ponting behaved splendidly. It is you who are trying to put the things in those perspective.
And what was the same Ponting doing when Brad Haddin had removed the bails with his own gloves, catching the ball infront of the stumps against New Zealand? If you think that this is indeed "splendid", then better u be in your own dreaming world.

Since you keep going back to incidents which have nothing to do with Lord's 2009, I firmly believe that you consider Ponting's behaviour in LORD's 2009 as exemplary - something our Indian cricketers should learn something from.... :)
Thanx...

Statement by Ricky Ponting - "As far as I'm concerned, it was pretty ordinary, really. But they can play whatever way they want to play. We came to play by the rules and the spirit of the game. It's up to them to do what they want to do. ".
Now he is thinking about "Spirit of the game". Where was this same "spirit of game" in Sydney when he himself was claiming a grassed catch?
Do check the facts before urself being a crybaby

Barring a few Aussies players none have sportmanship. Umpiring decisions can go wrong but when it happens they cry. Ponting made his post match statements becos the result cannot be reversed anyway. But when Hughes stood his ground Ponting was frozen to an statue.

why did the Australian media sleep when wrong decisions were made in the India-Aus series? Just they want to hang-on to the so called record by hook or crook.

Shame on you hypocrites.

that's as shitty it could get. when aus vs india was the hot topic and Ricky "caught" at slip, that time his word was to be taken for granted. also when Pup "caught" the ball, it was never referred. guess Oz media is worried that their country aint good at Cricket anymore. as it is there are so many other sports played in Oz. they shud try their hand at that now. Ponting can be the gate-man..

Dunno about your phunny suggestions, but Kumble can sure learn something from Ponting about post match comments, and BCCI can also learn from CA how NOT to call off tours because of a lost match.... :)

Bravo England! Austraila paid the deed

You have to pay the sin what you committed in past. This say suits entirely on Australian team who called the previous version of victory as "hard and fair game"- specially by Glen Mcgrath when India lost to Australia in second test. Lots of hue and cry were made but Australian media and cricket team at last called it fair decision when they won it because of Mr. Buckner's wrong decisions and due to unfair sportsman-ship by Michal Clark and Ricky pointing. And now when history has repeated itself while Australia is in receiving side, they have begun to shout at umpiring decisions and questioning England cricket teams sportsman ship.
Anyways, it is a great victory from England, as big as their approach to draw the previous game. they have to keep this momentum going and should win the reputed series of Ashes.
