I THOUGHT AUSTRALIAN BOWLERS BOWLED WELL TO GET 7 WICKETS IN A WICKET LIKE THAT. BUT IT WAS THE PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN COLLINGWOOD&SWANN WHICH CHANGED THE GAME EVEN THE LAST PAIR ACCOUNTED FOR ALMOST 12 OVERS . GREAT BEGINING OF ASHES RIVALRY

I am amused when the british claim that test cricket was at it very best! It only proves that the aussies don't have the variety which they had some time back when shane warne was there. Merely having pace bowlers without spin is not going to give them many victories.

If this test match played in Aus, they can win any how by cheating with the help of umpires. I am glad Aus did not win.

RD:
You can replay your "cheating theory" till you get hoarse in your throat..... :)
But didn't England show how to play cricket?.... If only our "heroes" could play out 6 balls instead of 16 overs..... and not allow those 3 wickets to fall in last over we wouldn't have heard you sing this tune 3 times per second on this forum.... :)

Mr. Against Pseudos, so why couldn't Australia win a single test of the last 6 tests that they played after that test against us if they were so good according to you? :)

Against Psuedos, Australia have a great record against England at Lords......they have never lost a test match against England for close to 74 years now...but you can see a rejuvenated England team now.......this draw is very demoralizing for Aussies....
I think ravi bopara shuld be given one more chance at no.3 and if he doesn't do well enough than they must bring back Ian bell who has a sound technique and did reasonably well in 2005 ashes series.

Have ever watched Ashes? bell scored total of 15 runs in the whole 2005 ashes series. pl check the records.

abay o ulo k kaan, Bell scored 2 fifties and scored about 170 scores in 2005 ashes, u should go and check the records. bell is a good player but not a big heart fellow like ravi bopara but as a whole a better technical batsman.

more than batting.. they need to sharpen bolwing firepower. 2 spinners is luxary in england. even broad is not up to mark.

yes broad was all over the place and was not looking confident. Harmison and onions shld play the next test at lords. broad and panesar could be rested.

Ryan Sidebottom is the answer......he is a killer bowler in English conditions.....he has already won England 4 test matches on English soil....2 against NZ and 2 against WI.......though Australia is far better opposition, i still think that Sidebottom will be more than a handful!!

drawn test match with advantage of australia virtually aussies won on the lead of first innings it is time for britishers to refresh their skills or stop playing test matches
Its a match between two most ordinary sides of late with neither Aussies nor the English has the up-to-mark bowling standard . And have u seen Petersen's dismissal ! He was voted by the Aussies as the best batsman of the World . Ha Ha ..... by watching the match live we all miss the dominating Indians, gritty Lankans and mesmerising Pakis . Aussies, u r not the future of cricket anymore. The CG is shifted permanently to Indian Subcontinent.

and Formidable Australians who won two of the last 3 test series (ie away series in India and Home series against South Africa)
in tension filled closing moments .. peter sidlle let out a loud pleading appeal for LBW.. cool aleem dar was unmoved and ruled it not out. it was a great decision.. as ball was missing leg stump. Aleem dar is a tough and good umpire who can withstand pressure.

ha ha ha...i enjoyed reading ur comment...but definitely it mus be irritating for Anurag...
England must change their batting tactics flintoff must come at no 3 and kevin peterson at no 4 because these are experienced players and need to take responsibility Ravi Bopara is not that much mitured player in Test Cricket so better he came at no 6 for teams better performance
