One thing is damn sure that anyone for that matter in any field of activity should never take it for granted that they cannot be dethroned from first place especially people/team/country who has HEADWEIGHT & OVERCONFIDENCE.,

India is never no. 1, you know why? India has stars but not players (now a days india have) Why Sachin (please forgive me) not make about 40-45 runs in steadily, he make century then next four inings down to earth. Also other players. Now India has consistent players. Certainly, India has less no. of stars now, but better players. India can be no. also little more aggressiveness.
Indian team along with me can sit and watch the world cup not only the final but also the super six matches. The world cup winners: South Africa/Australi. Never India.
Had they all been indians, they would have all been multi millionaires right now. Now when they reach back home, there would be no crowd waiting for them at airport. They would just be living normal lives. Few years back, Mark Boucher's kit was stolen from stadiums dressing room. While in the bus, he saw someone with the kit. He jumped from the bus window, ran after the person & caught him & reached hotel picking a cab. Can you imagine indian cricketers doing the same?
