Kotla Pitch Fiasco
by Bihar Badshah on Dec 29, 2009 08:23 AM

I totally justify the anger Kotla spectators showed during the 5th ODI..and also with most of the bloggers; calling this event as a Shame...Guys I also want to draw your attention on the New Zealand Wickets..When only Indian batsman played was Shewag..tour before 2009 one..None of ICC official took note then, when the scores were 90% times 150 runs in a test innings...Similary the aussies pitch which was fast bowler paradise injuring so many batsman of yester years..Why all these noises whenever India falters...?But again this does not justfy Mr Dalijit Singh and DDCA attitude..

Pitch curators in india, esp delhi wears lungi, seduces the sweeper lady, abuse their children, abuse women, drink lots of toddy with senior officers, watch mms clips, porn movieS,.......So how can we expect them to be sincere with pitches and international standards????Its the way the current elders like ND tiwari have created the nation. All the best.

Delhi has been screwed up by Punjabis
by Zinda Dil on Dec 28, 2009 08:00 AM

In Delhi everything is dominated by the Punjabis. And Punjabis are as corrupt as Sindhis, that they can even cheat their parents. In business, they often do that. And DCA is also totally punjabi dominated. They must have stolen all the money meant for pitch maintenance and the result was this pitch.

uh thats like a national shame. You would be hardpressed into finding another match that was abandoned due to poor pitch in any other part of the world.

3 pitches on the ground
by vinay on Dec 28, 2009 01:54 AM

usually there r 3 pitches on the ground. organisers take one of them to use in a match. if by chance, one pitch misbehaves with uneven bounce. can they go for the other pitch?

moreover, delhi ranji team was having a ranji qf match in the same city. but the domestic ckt pitch had no problem but pitch for intnl match had problems. funny!!!

bowlers' right to cancel the game.
by vinay on Dec 28, 2009 01:53 AM  | Hide replies

bowlers shud also hv right to refuse to play if the pitch is batting paradise with no help to bowlers.
bolrs shud refuse to play on pitch which gives 400 runs a day without losing wkts. y only batsman hv become cry baby. y not allow bolrs also hv a say in pitch condition.

Arey duffer, its not about being tough to bat. Its about the players getting injured due to the variable bounce. Thats how an unplayable pitch is figured. On flat pitches, there is no chance of getting injured.
