Rangana Herath [ Images ] (3) was outdone by Zaheer's lethal bouncer and could only pull it to midwicket, where Pragyan Ojha [ Images ] took a good catch, leaping forward. ([b]282-2, 97.1)

Dhoni Harbhajan cartel denied Sreesanth bowling chances!
by exoticbronze on Dec 06, 2009 11:08 AM  | Hide replies

Congratulations Dhoni! Your kitchen cabinte politicking with Harbhajan worked so well! Both of you conspired to deprive Sreesanth of bowling opportunities. So at first you began by introducing spinners, and then when Sreesanth got an opportunity and took a wicket and bowled very tight maidens, you quietly replaced him with Zaheer, even though Sreesanth was bowling a tighter spell! Both of you guys - Harbhajan and Dhoni - were worried about Sreesanth repeating his success from the last test. So Bhajji and you came up with the good idea of keeping Sreesanth on the outfield while Zaheer kept on bowling.

Dont worry Dhoni, you and bhajji can conspire all you want. You attitude will only propel Sree to perform even better. Your and Bhajji's (Hayden may have had his reasons to call Harbhajan a 'weed' after all - he really needs being weeded out) games will not be able to keep deserving players out of the team for long.

Exotic Bronze or whoever fake person with fake ID u are..Are you insane ????????
Sreesanth loses his temper n balance after every great performance. He is s mercurial bowler who bowls extremly well in match and follows it up with mediocre performance in subsequent matches. He bowled wayward in second match. History has shown that he has serious attitude problem after every good performance. Sreesanth needs to be nurtured exactly in the same way how Dhoni is nurturing him now. Any bowler was going to wipe out lankans in this match as they were under immense pressure. If it was sreesanth then who knows he would have shown some arrogance again. India needs sreesanth for longer duration and not for shorter stints.

LOL...so you are admitting that Dhoni kept Sreesanth away fearing that Sreesanth would be successful - especially since he was bowling a tighter line, bowling more maidens that Zaheer! So Dhoni is nurturnig him as a bowler by keeping him on the field but without let him bowl!!! Why did he include Sreesanth inthe team then?

Great logic! Where exactly did you go to school?

And dont you find it ironic that one the one hand you complain that Sreesanth "mercurial bowler who bowls extremly well in match and follows it up with mediocre performance in subsequent matches.", and on the other hand you are justifying not giving him chance to bowl in this test after being so successful in the last test! So you advocate not allowing Sreesanth to bowl even if he is the most effective seamer in the match following the test in which he was the best bowler, but then you complain that Sreesanth 'historically' is medicore after beign successful in the previous match.

LOL so if he is successful in the last match, and bowls a tight line in this match, you say remove him. And then you complain that he doesnt followup a successful performance.

In short, tie a person down, and then complain that he doesnt move!

Hey Bronze, you are biased. Asking Zaheer to bowl ensured India's victory. On this day he was unplayable. Sri is a very good bowler, but that cannot take away the credit from others. There was no politicking at all.

On this day he was unplayable because he was the ONLY seamer allowed to bowl on this day! How difficult is it to get thin in your head.

How about comparing the previous day when both Zaheer and Sreesanth were bowling together, and Sreesant was bowling maidens and a tighter line and moving the ball. Till inexplicably he was taken off the attack but Zaheer was persisted with. Ofcourse if you keep a bowler away, then the other bowler will get the wickets!

maybe you are the one that is biased.
