By putting India into No.1 slot on ICC rankings, Dhoni & co has achieved what the earlier Indian teams could not. CONGRATS to Dhoni, Gary Kirsten & Team India. Keep up the winning habit.
No doubt the whole team had a role in crushing Lankans, but in hindsight, but for Sehwag's washbuckilng double, this perhaps could not have been possible, Kudos to the Dhoni's BCCI men for bagging the top slot for the first time in histroy
Well done by batsmen and bollers together. It is a real team spirit/efforts and result is there. Team has to keep it up to get more and more wins to cheer up countrymem. Well done boys and keep it up.
Tendulkar Comments " No retirement as long as I am enjoying the game." In both matches that India won Sachin didn't score a century whereas INDIA won with match winners scored century.Tendulkar is also enjoying as like other spectators enjoying watching Gambir,Sehwag,Dhoni and Dravid(Match winners) scoring centuries. No spectator would prefer to retire watching these match winners. Sachin can join Spectator seat and enjoy the game but Sachin should retire from playing? why grand pa among youngsters doing nothing but enjoying game watching match winners score centuries.Sachin score centuries either on drawn matches and India may loose that game ?

Sachin drew the first Test match for India with his match saving innings in the 5th day.He ensured that Sehwag's momentum was not lost in the 3rd Test at Mumbai with a crucial but significant fifty. His role might not look mountainous but was invaluable.

Sachin's contribution is not as needed as before these days with guys like Sehwag, Gambhir, Vijay, Dhoni, etc around. But still, having Sachin in the team is a huge psychological boost for the team and he is still the same reliable batsman that he used to be. He saved India the game at Ahmedabad and has had a few 40's and 50's after that.

Sachin is one of the greatest batsmen world has ever seen, but the truth is nowadays his contribution to India's wins has reduced drastically. His contribution to India's wins is not significant nowadays. Truth can be bitter sometimes
