Utappa only sees idly and chutney... he has only one shot of taking the idly to a chutney and could thinking of nothing else..... he needs to learn to play a long innings...winning a lottery once does not make one rich, but one has to have a regular good income to get rich... This applys to the uttappa

Selection Panel
by aba ullala on Aug 16, 2009 03:22 PM  | Hide replies

Sachin and Dravid are most seniors to play or ODIs. Both of them should be replaced by energetic youth. No doubt, they are great players but OD matches doesn't suits them.

both SAchin and dravid may be tested in Sri Lanka but I feel Irfan Pathan and Virat Kohli are the great guys for to balance the team in the future

Dude.. Do you seriously follow ODI at all.. Your energetic youth will make a beeline to pavilion when confronted with short deliveries.. Is it what you call energy?
ODI matches do not suit Sachin.. What crap.. Please get your brain (if you have one) examined..

good to select mishra in odi. also good that dravid experience vl come handy on bouncy pitches.
also good that rohit n jadeja hv been shown the door.
but still hard to look at the omission of virat kohli n cheteshwar pujara.

on wt basis dravid was selected......i don think he done enough in last two years to get a recall. even his performance in the test matches has been below par. i think dravid's inclusion is a step backwards n will serve no purpose....i think grave injustice has been made to virat kohli who has performed well in the past n has performed well in emerging players tourn in aus.
on wt basis harbhajan was picked i think on performance he is the owrst bowler in the team. Ojha should hv been picked in his place

Dravid hasplace in ODI team all time
by abhi nair on Aug 16, 2009 03:07 PM

whole time is fine except why RP singh is in team who in recent matches failed bowled 3 overs tahn why he is in team and Ojha is out who got wickets and was man of the match once, dhoni this is bad example as captain u r showing. instead of R.p Irfan is there who cab bat if fails in bowling else rohit is there as perfect batsman and give less runs than Rp.

Can't blame for Virat Kholi Exclusion. Seems to be a very good one and purely merit basis. Happy to see Rohith Kicked.

Dravid gets surprised recall but selectors forgot specialist Dada
by subrata banerjee on Aug 16, 2009 03:00 PM

Old players like Sachin, Dravid and Ashish Nehra got the birth in one day indian cricket team but selectors found no place for all time one day specialist batsman like Sourav Ganguly in the team. Can selectors justify their deeds? Still, Dada is an ideal one day player who can attack any kind of bowler at any time even right from the first ball of the over. But no body knows why he is ignored. Really, everything is possible in India. Indian cricket team suffered tremendeous regionalism right from its birth and still have been carrying the same tradition
