Actually, Sachin Tendulkar is SLUMDOG MILLIONAIR !!! Naturally, he is more hungry than others. BEGGERS must have the right to earn more; evenif SURESH RAINA like players sitting outside. BEGGERS ARE ALWAYS BEGGERS; & you are teaching the Sachin like begger regarding what to do & what not to do. Afterall any cricketer is more than satisfied after playing 21 years of cricket, but it seems that is not applicable to Sachin, because he had saved himself from playing for the nation. Players who played for nation always take the view to retire earlier to give chance to build the team in better manner. Otherwise, there is no any cricket team who will choose SURESH RAINA out of the playing squad. It is now the time to tell Sachin Tendulkar that "HE IS NOT NEEDED FOR INDIAN ODIs & TESTS SQUAD" Keeping logo on helmet of BCCI above INDIA's national flag indicates what are the attitudes of Sachin regarding nation, records, new players & his career as the batsman. He always shown commitment, his class is hard to replace, while fielding he shows child like enthusiasm at this point of time also, his judging of runs is perfect. His weakness is failing at big occasions, that makes few people to criticise on his commitment, But i believe he is very committed player.

India lost 18 finals of onedayers under the captaincy of DADA & the cause is that sachin tendulkar & ajit agarkar both had not played in these 18 matches. In these matches Sachin has ducks or runs of single figure & ajit agarkar had not taken a single wicket & gave runs above 50 in 10 overs. There is politics played by Sachin even in world cup final also, by which SAURAVDADA can not hold trophy in hands. Actually, that finals are not 11 agaist 11, but 9 (INDIANS) against 13-others. In today’s world nobody played upto 21 years of cricket, so what this old guy wants from playing? Just to create the records, because he never ever played for the team; that’s wellknown truth allover the world.

What I think is that Mr. Ramesh Gupta, Anshuman, & Vishwas are telling right things. Also, most important thing is that Saurav Ganguly was the first captain who played well under his own captaincy. All captains before Saurav are just came on the ground to show to other players that they are captain including Sachin Tendulkar. Saurav was the first player who though being captain made lot of captaincy innings & brought India on winning path. The constant thrust of success is the big blessing of Saurav Ganguly to Indian cricket. So, no doubt Saurav Ganguly is the alltime best player of India.
But, in conclusion, I want to tell one most important thing & that is
SAURAV GANGULY & ANIL KUMBLE ALREADY RETIRED FROM THE INTERNATIONAL CRICKET. NOW, THE OTHER OLD GUYS VIZ. SACHIN TENDULKAR, RAHUL DRAVID & VVS LAXMAN MUST HAVE TO TAKE VOLUNTARY RETIREMENT. OTHERWISE, BCCI MUST FIRE / EXPELL THESE OLD AGED GUYS FROM THE TEAM. BECAUSE, INDIA HAVE TO BUILD UP IT'S TEAM FOR WORLD CUP, 2011 FOR WHICH TEAM UNITY OF YOUNGSTERS REQUIRED & NATURALLY, ABOVE DENOTED NOT RETIRED OLD GUYS WILL NOT PLAY IN THE WORLD CUP, 2011.
SO, BETTER WAY FIRE / RETIRE / COMPULSORY VOLUNTARY RETIREMENT SCHEME SHOULD HAVE TO BE GIVEN TO THESE OLD GUYS VIZ. SACHIN TENDULKAR, RAHUL DRAVID & VVS LAXMAN. LOT OF QUALITATIVE PLAYERS MORE THAN ST ARE SITTING OUTSIDE THE INDIAN TEAM.

I seriously believe there is something wrong in ppl who are criticizing Sachin who inspired a generation to take up cricket. This fact cannot be contested as I happen to be of that generation who has seen ppl join cricket academies and taking up cricket just to become another Sachin.
Today we are in a position where we can dictate terms as a board or as a team, but this is what ppl like Sachin, Saurav and Dravid brought to the game. During the retirement of Sunny and Kapil's generation, India had very little to cheer, when we satisfied ourselves with a Srikkanth who could hit a few sixes or a Shastri or Kapil who could hit boundaries. It was Sachin who in his debut series showed that Indians could take the heat (even after Sunny), and ppl came and watched him which led to contracts and sponsorships, which in turn led to the BCCI becoming what it is today.
We middle class ppl may feel that a few crores (which are unreachable to us) is a big amount and hence we feel ppl like Sachin and Saurav are playing for money, whereas the truth is that they have earned enough to last several generations and do not need to play for that extra crore.
One last thing, before criticizing him and asking him to retire, can any one suggest a name that could even faintly be called able or dependable enough to replace Sachin or Dravid in Tests ?

Abbey ChUTyeee....Ind won world cup in 1983, 6 guys from Same Team played including the same Captain...Did they won it in 1987 again...?? 3/4 guys from world cup winning team played again in 1992 ...Did they in again...?? Its a team game No Single player can win world cup..If u dont know it then shut ur f Uking mouth.....

Mr. Akshay Singh, Ur post shows why u r criticizing Sachin - becoz u r such a confused person.
On one hand u say that cricket is not an individual sport like lawn tennis and then u say why sachin did not win the world cup for India.
If cricket is not an individual sport, why do u expect only Sachin to win the WC ? Where are the remaining 10 players and what are they doing ? Why not criticize them who have not achieved even half of what Sachin has ?
Secondly, even if cricket is a team sport, it takes only one individual to motivate and inspire a whole generation to take up the sport. U dont need the whole team to do that.
