all those who r saying rubbish abt sachin must know that its sachin and only sachin due to whom we have so many match winners and six hitters in team now.he is the harbinger of this modern indian cricket where even no 11 balaji hit sixes against pakistan.if sachin has not come to indian cricket, yuvraj sehwag dhoni ganguly wud also not have come.

Dont be a spoon fed batsman only.Be mature and take more responsibility like leading the team as all great batsman like Bradman, and Ponting is doing.
The player is great when he scores heavily when he is captain as well.

Just remember Ponting is a captain as well as player.Bradman was a captain and still played well.

It is players like Gavaskar and Tendulkar who are spoon fed to make records.
What i mean they are great palyers but to be extra odinary play as a captain and still play well.

whether he is a good capt is not is not the issue. whether he is good with the bat in the category of brad is important.

Good quotes from Sachin
by Pramod S on Aug 07, 2009 08:11 PM  | Hide replies

"The mind always wants to be in the past or the future, it rarely wants to be in the present. My best batting comes when my mind is in the present but it doesn't happen naturally, you have to take yourself there"

perfect !! like the master stroke from his willow.

Tendulkar and contracts
by R Bose on Aug 07, 2009 08:01 PM  | Hide replies

Tendulkar is no doubt a GREAT player. But, when he says, ""Money should just be coincidental..." why does the non-payment of duty on the Ferari that he received as gift comes to mind?
