The height of hypocracy was evident in the manner Mohd Kaif was handled by Shane Warne and the Coach. The owners of the team who has a say does not have any cricketing skills but could have alteast consulted indegenious brains before scumbbing to foreign pressures. Mohd Kaif would have definately made a lot of difference. I hope Lalit Modi is hearing me....

great talk... i think if kaif was there in middle order the story was to be different..how a foreign captain(warne) can axe our players from the team..kaif can bat ,field as well as give useful tips to the captain..this pitch is south african not indian so kaif should be there ..i want to tell to rajasthan royals officialds to bring kaif as soon as possible..
Chennai Kings left out Balaji and took Ashwin, who neither bowled nor batted! Also took Tushara and left out Albie Morkel. Dhoni may have limitations in respect of overseas players, but what about Balaji? In NZ, dhoni left out Balaji and gave Munaf the nod. Munaf was very ordinary and Balaji would probably have been a better choice. Dhoni has a thing against South Indians, which is reflected in his choice of players.

That is not bold/confident man but a chicken (Darpok)—Yesterday (against MI) he had enough time to cross over when his partner (I think it was Badrinath), but did not do so as not to face Latish Malinga), even commentators were surprised that he had lots of time to cross over but he just stood there.

why Dhoni is successful means others in the team performing well, not because of dhoni's captaincy itself..if the team is performing well credit goes to captain. here in SA dhoni have to manage diffrent type of players and he's not able to manage them ....and guide the team win
how come dhoni got khel ratna,but one of the best player india has ever produce dravid still not have got it!!!!!!! dravid should be given immediately as he is not only a legend but real gentleman!!!! A true role model!!!!!!!! not like one overhype dada and his biased followers.

it was such a mockery of the system to award the khel ratna to an average cricketer like dhoni before legends like dravid,kumble,dada and laxman...

dont compare people. each player has done thier best in thier capacities. dada, laxman, dravid and tendulkar have all excelled for india. what we lacked was world class bowlers like ishant and zaheer in form.
I firmly believe that answer should be NO. It is the public that matter most. We have to back ICL to prove the ICL is doing much better job for Indian local players and care more for India and its public. IPL and Lalit Modi are doing neither for local players nor for India. They are sending public money to outside world. IPL has announced a big money for SA underprivileged children—good thing—but they have done so far for similar children in India. It is pity that Indian public do not realize it potential power to correct people like Modi. Wake up Indian Public and root out these people who are no good for India.

indian govt deny to provide security to our guest players then how bcci risk. Its fault of our govt that deny to provide security even knowing how much icl boost local business.
Govt just takes care netas, they dont have to anything with local general public and jobs for public that got during the seasion in india. Govt not deny just security but millions of associated jobs in reccession period.
Tendulkar,Dravid,Kumble...highlight of day one of the IPL I think this edition Quality players are going to play an important role..simple because of tired pitches in south africa..season end games
I hope my team deccan will do much better this time with the class of VVS LAXMAN & ROHIT SHARMA along side GILCHRIST and GIBBS
