It doesn't matter whether Dhoni is there or not. It was only Sachin Tendulkar until recently and in 70's and 80's Sunil Gavaskar without whom India's team appeared miserable.

MS Dhoni may not be a match winner but he is by far best wicket-keeper batsman India ever had.
MS Dhoni is by far better than Dinesh Karthick in terms of both wicket-keeping and batting :-)

Why will they accept to be acting captain when the vice-captian is Viru Sehwag :-)

It's not only for next test. After this series vice captain should be change.

Why should anyone accept to be an acting captain when they were rejected from captaincy by BCCi and selectors, Will BCCi pay them more to be captain of Indian team :-)

Talk of his present form Rathore. Do not theorise on the basis of remote past.
MS Dhoni has to play this test match otherwise people will start commenting that he is missin these test matches in order to make himself fit and available for IPL 2.
MS Dhoni should play himself coz he is far better wicket-keeper than Dinesh Kathick and a far better batsman than Dinesh Karthick.
MS Dhoni should pick Amit Mishra in place of Munaf Patel if it is a flat track and if it is a seamer's track then he has to pick Dhawal Kulkarni :-)

It was Dhobi - Who Started "Youngsters Required in the Team" Issue, thereby starting the issue. Also Vengsarkar helped this Bugger to Remove Sourav & Kumble.

Anil Kumble retired as a captain of Indian team so no issues with him but yup u maybe right in Sourav Ganguly's case coz MS Dhoni wanted Yuvraj Singh in test match team :-)

Do u think MS DHoni is big enough to drop legends like Saurav Ganguly and Anil Kumble, Maybe he was not happy with their presence but I dont think he has that clout to make them retire from International Cricket :-)

India will win comfortable, MS DHoni is not a match winner but a support player in test matches but his captaincy will be missed :-)

think Dhoni's presence provides a sense of calmness to the entire team on the field. Also his presence in the lower order gives the top order players a sense of comfort. Additionally Dhoni is normally more aggressive in the test format and at times gives the push that is required in the latter half of an innings. Even an aggressive 50-60 odds makes a big difference. Kartick is woefully out of it..

MS DHoni is certainly India's best wicket-keeper batsman in all formats :-)

Yep, Dhoni is a good manager/administrator like Lalu. I accept to certain extent. But he cannot be considered as the GAWD of Indian cricket. He tries to be polite but actually he is not.
This is the best option to play with multiple captains for a single test, like the following, 1 st Day - V.Shewag (Starts with some expectation) 2 nd Day - Yuvraj ( There is some Aggression) 3 rd Day - Sachine (Keep the Momentum) 4 th day - Dravid (Needs some Solidity) 5 th day - Harbajan (Shows some naughty signals to the opposition After winning)

Rekha with multiple captains team India's situation will be same as that of a man having multiple wives. Believe me or not.
