Dhoni & Final Match.
by Ravindra Yadav on Apr 02, 2009 08:50 PM

Dhoni's health is more important than the final test.He ought to recover fully before taking final match. He should not take risk to stall the recovery. He should take final when he feels perfectly well and the physician and the coach confirm Dhoni's fitness.Team India may be victorious inspite of absence of sick Dhoni.Dhoni may boost the morale and advise his team mate from the gallery also in case he does not find himself fit to be in the field to play final..

How about Arjun Tendulkar?

If Dhoni who grew up with chimps in the Jungles of Jharkhand can play so well, then the son of one the greatest all-time cricketers can definitely do better!

Root for Arjun Tendulkar as captain in 2020!!

rambo only,

Thanks for the appreciation!

And I thought nobody here (on a Rediff message board) would understand something as insulting without the "colourful" words it usually takes to "make a point"!

BTW, why are you offended or surprised? I am from Bihar! Blame it on the stereotype!!

After the 1st match, MSD said that he wanted to give the series win as a parting gift to the senior trio. Now it looks like the trio will have to get that gift themselves as there is doubt over MSD's playing in this match.

Who is MS Dhoni to gift Sachin Tendulkar, Is he a match winner .?????????

Nope so what does he mean by gifting series win to trio, In fact the trio are goin to gift this series win to MS DHoni for his captaincy which is nothing but secondary to performances of the following players:

1.Sachin Tendulkar.

2.Gautham Gambhir.

3.Viru Sehwag.

4.VVS Laxman.

5.Rahul Dravid.

U talk like dhakkan. Since the last world cup when india was out in the qualifying round india has not lost any series only becoz of MSD. He is the only match winner in the cricketing history of India. Pakistan in Pak, Lanka in Lanka, Aussi in Australia, England in India, T-20, Now Kiwis in NZ. He's the greatest.

Moron do u understand difference between match winner's and captain, If u dont then it is expected from the reply u made.

How can any captain win so many series without match winner's and their brliiant performers, India has won 85% of their matches coz of match winner like:

1.Sachin Tendulkar.

2.Gautham Gambhir.

3.Viru Sehwag.

4.VVS Laxman.

5.Yuvraj SIngh(ODI's), Rahul Dravid(test matches).

MS Dhoni is just captain by chance that's it and nothing else.

Moron learn about Cricket and then talk :-)

What are u talking man, Sachin Tendulkar was best match winner under Saurav Ganguly and India won so many ODI's coz of both of them, What about the performance of VVS Laxman and Rahul Dravid in Kolkatta test match where VVS Laxman scored 281 and Rahul Dravid scored 180 and India won that test match in Kolkatta after following on with deficit of 450 runs.

What about performances of Anil Kumble under Mohd. Azaruddin when he took 10 wickets in Feroz shah kotla Delhi against Pakistan.

What about Rahul Dravid's performance under Saurav Ganguly as captain where he was the best batsman for India in overseas in test matches.

What about performance of Viru Sehwag under captaincy of Saurav Ganguly(In fact it was Rahul Dravid) in multan test match where he scored 319 runs and bcome 1st Indian player to score 300 in test matches.

What about Viru Sehwag's 2nd 300 against South Africa in 2008 which he scored on 1st day of the test match.

What about excellent performances of Gautham Gambhir under captaincy of Anil Kumble in Sri Lanka and again in India :-)

Moron u think u know cricket... u rate gautam ghambir 2nd match winner but forget players like zaheer... u seem like a jealous tendulkar who cant lead a team.

Sachin is a great player no doubt, but a captains attitude matters a lot... what are the stats of sachin in finals or deciders or as a captain? he cant perform under pressure. Remember this much most of the series which Dhoni has captained mostly did not feature tendulkar, and explain why India couldnt pull off a win against Australia under Anil Kumble while under Dhoni's captaincy India won 2.

and another thing stop the :-) thing... its like u think u are smart but makes u look like a Moron with a fake attitude

Saurav Ganguly may have retired coz of MS DHoni..............
by SachinTheGreat on Apr 02, 2009 07:23 PM  | Hide replies

Saurav Ganguly may have retired coz of MS Dhoni coz he wanted Yuvraj Singh in test match team.

When Krish Shrikanth bcame chief selector MS DHoni recommended the name of Yuvraj Singh and secretly plotted against Saurav Ganguly to be removed from test team coz Saurav Ganguly was in brilliant form and was possibly in his best form since his 1st 100 in Lords in test matches , Saurav Ganguly certainly deserved to play for more 1 year in test matches.

MS DHoni is a politician for sure.

Same like Saurav Ganguly was when he was captain :-)

I think u lack knowledgfe about Indian Cricket coz Indian Cricket is full of politics played by captains like MS Dhoni and previously by Saurav Ganguly.

To think that Indian players dont have ego issues would be foolishness coz they are competing with each other for places and for captaincy. In fact morons like Yuvraj Singh and Munaf Patel dont deserve a chance in test matches.

It is only coz of MS Dhoni that these 2 morons are playin in Indian team otherwise Yuvraj SIngh is useless in test matches as was proved in Australia 3-mobile test series and Munaf Patel is waste in all formats of the game :-)

They are winning matches for india. SOme times u must watch matches instead of reading filthy Marathi papers. Once Dhoni didnot play the match India had to face Follow-on which if Dhini had captained india would have surely won like 1st test.

DHONI'S ABSENSE.
by Moses Joseph on Apr 02, 2009 07:22 PM

If Dhoni is absent, stand in captain (Viru) should keep his head cool and play a 'thinking' game. He should not get out in a flash in a rush of blood and fall prey to NZ game plan. Karthik should keep wicket well and also score well. Karthic used to be good earlier. Indians should not drop any catch; that is most important.

Why I Hate Dhobi???

Because - It was Dhobi - Who Started "Youngsters Required in the Team" Issue, thereby starting the politics.

Also Vengsarkar helped this Bugger (Dhobi) to Remove Sourav & Kumble.
