Its obvious that Kaif will be playing the test series against the Aussies.Thats why he is not in the Board President's team.
Good decision.

He faught with batting instead of opposition. lol... like this
pak test scene...

42.3 Shoaib Akhtar to Ganguly, no run, moves outside leg stump, Shoaib sends a slower one on the stumps, tapped to backward point

42.4 Shoaib Akhtar to Ganguly, 1 no ball, Ah! Drama. Ganguly moved outside leg stump and Shoaib followed him with a bouncer and Ganguly ducked and fell over on his backside
DADA COUNTING STARS IN BROAD DAY LIGHT.. FIGHTING ON EQUAL TERMS.

42.4 Shoaib Akhtar to Ganguly, OUT, Again he backs away, Shoaib fires in a full pitched delivery on the leg stump, Ganguly misses to connect with his heave and the leg stump is pegged back. Kumble has declared.
SC Ganguly b Shoaib Akhtar 46 (58b 4x4 0x6) SR: 79.31

what's the point in naming 15 players
by mahim on Sep 23, 2008 04:19 PM  | Hide replies

There is this stupid habit in asia to name tonnes of players for a single match
btw, both of these teams will get thumped by oz
do you know who the commentators for ind v oz are?
i just wish dean jones is there coz he's funny and hope that the racist barry richards or the nauseating arun lal and the biased sunil gavaskar are not there
i believe aussies will win the test series against us
oz in all sports is far and away > india

There are 15 players announced for the 'A' team, and one more for the Presidents' XI. Now how does that make it loads of players? Pray tell me if you even understand the naming of a team. This aint a tennis team btw. In Cricket its customary to name a 14 or 15. Mebbe we added one or two more and it coulda bin acompact 14, but wtf!!!
Oz in all sports?? Hmmm...i agree in most, but we're running em close in cricket, and are way ahead in Chess( or does that not count?) We're also ahead as a team in Snooker and Billiards, and if you take out the chinese defectors, in TT as well. But yes, I'd have to agree with you at a larger level...but thats coz they are a sporting nation, where physical activity for sport is encouraged from infancy, and they don't have nay sayers in abundance like we do:-)

rajesh r, i meant

all rubbish by you, btw there are 15 players named in both teams and only stupid teams like ours will allow four players to have a picnic,
chess is probably not a sport, same with billiards and snooker and oz have historically had more success in every sport compared to us, australia's sporting sucess is far and away greater than india which u should know but you do not coz your sporting sense is lost
what the hell is this chinese tt players in oz - they are aussies, they live in oz, they are trained in oz, there are athletes from all countries in all sports that train in oz
and oz is better than india in all sports in general
lets just accept facts
the hype in our country makes be sick
wtf? to you
now get lost
u idiot
get out ,go away
oz is a demanding sport country that see through the hype whereas in our country we have are nauseating media that are over the top

india is nowhere near oz in cricket
oz have won 47 percent of their test matches and india, 21 percent and this is the history of both teams
in india, cricket is from one to 10, in oz, it has to compete with tonnes of sports and is no 3[and then also know the fact that oz have a population that is one-sixteeth of india]
oz in all sports in general is > than
lets just accept facts and cut the hype that will do india, r fellow all . . ., our indians . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ., our people . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ., countrymen. . . . . . . . . ., a world of good

i am not a pessimist, i am a realist and not a fool like you who gets sold out to hype, in our entire history, we india have won only 22 percent test matches and we were minnows in international cricket for a lifetime.
