It is ironical to see that a person having an average below 30 is drafted into the Indian 'A' squad as vice captain just because of being son of BCCI Secretary. India, where talented cricketers are in struggling to get a chance to indian team where this official 'interference' has happened.

yes I think.why they taking these sort of 'wastes'.He only taken less than 10wickets in first class and labelled as all rounder!!!!! Made vice captain because he won't left out in any match.Niranchen Shah, the great!!!

Mr Niranjan Shah is no longer the secy, so somebody from the family should get employment na?
Its nice to see Wirdhiman & Dhinda getting a look. The former showed his talent during the IPL. The tragedy is no matter how good he is, he cannot replace the present one.Its unfortunate Sourav has been left out making it so very obvious. BCCI is the most unwanted DON of cricket on planet earth.

Sachin, what nandy has said is correct. Dhinda and wridiman saha were unknown names and did very well in the IPL,didn't they? Sure they deserve a chance. So where does bong come into the picture?

All are ganging up against evry player selected including selectors. But their politicians are locked up with Singoor. So many Singoor ke Langoor take different indian names and write here.

But he seems to be concerned about Wirdhiman & Dhinda Sourav no other indian player.... I atleast do not limit myself to such selection...
as it is clear to everyone Gambhir and Sehwag is there as openers for sometime from now on. Why then the selectors are again and again giving chance to W.Jaffer and A.Chopra, for not including Ganguly and trying to exclude Laxman they say, some young guns have to be given chance. why not this time?? They should have given chance to some other players, as these two are sure wont be part of the Indian XI in the near future...
Re: why again Jaffer and A.Chopra???
by SachinTheGreat on Sep 23, 2008 04:54 PM
VVS Laxman has been selected to play in Irani trophy then why will He be included in Board president's xi and India A Team, I think it is wise decision by selectors coz they are gonna give chance to young players like Shikhar Dhawan and Wriddhiman Saha, BTW I agree that Wasim Jaffer and Akash Chopra dont deserve a place in either of the the Teams forget about Indian Team........

Who is this Jaydev Shah.? Is He son of Niranjan Shah coz He is made vice-captain of India A Team........
I think it is a good decision by selectors to include Yuvraj Singh in board presidents xi and make him as captain coz atleast it gives him an opportunity to stake a claim to be included in Test series against Australia, I think another good decision is to include Shikhar Dhawan in India A team coz I believe He will be soon in Indian ODI Team, I am also very happy for inclusion of Amit Mishra in India A Team coz I fel He is the best spinner in India right now, BTW I dont think Yuvraj Singh will get a chance to play against Australia coz I think either Suresh Raina or Rohit Sharma will get a chance if Saurav Ganguly is not selected......................................

Its obvious that Kaif will be playing the test series against the Aussies.Thats why he is not in the Board President's team. Good decision.

Then he does that to every international cricketer. They dont face him like that. For your info Dada selected him in his IPL team.
