Govt monopoly has brought in unfair competition, rampant corruption and an ever bulging evil empire. The only people who benefit are those close to govt. The govt policy seems to be: the rest can go to hell.

In the face of flood disaster in Bihar, wretched souls of Islamic terrorists killing innocent people in Delhi, the IPL must be cancelled this year. The money thus saved in the extravaganza be used in the noble cause of helping the victims of disasters.

Better yet, IPL must donate a good chunk of money to these victims.

My respect for Sri Lankans grows. Other cricket boards & ICC must also stand against BCCI and it's stooges!! No self-respecting board/country should turn a blind-eye to this gross injustices melted to the players...Bravo SL!!!

The time is right for the Pakistan Cricket Board to allow their players also to play. They really need them. Will give the BCCI something to think about.

No need for BCCI's permission.

We need only the former cricket players to lead the BCCI and not corrupt politicians.

They are not the law makers and dictate this and that.

Bravo Srilanka

I don't hv words to express my happiness at such a sporting gesture on the part of SriLanka Cricket Board. Imagine Kapil Dev the only man who cud gift the world cup to India and a true Indian at that left in the lurch by the likes of monsters like Sharad Powar, Lalit Modi and their ilk of the infamous BCCI.I believe every right thinking person must raise their voice against such totally irrational if not insane stand of BCCI agt ICL. We hv seen the performance of Indian Players in IPL excepting for some players there is not much to write home about.

ICL

Hi, Sure this is very bold move on part of the SriLanka Cricket. Those cricketers playing in the ICL are just too good. It is just because of frustration at not being given chances at the national level and also the money factor which has lured them to the ICL. There is nothing wrong in playing in the ICL. As if players in the BCCI approved IPL did well. It was more of the foreign players who did really well.

Regards, Vimal

Challenge the BCCI

ICL should ask their players to file a petition in the supreme court regarding violation of fundamental rights.BCCI was not selecting them in Test matches. They have joined ICL to earn their livelihood but BCCI is asking other boards not to allow them to play in those countries. This is gross injustice
