indian cricket

Australians are very professional in their approach to the game and are far superior to others.India is trying to beat them depending on its spinners solely which is a pathetic and narrow approach. It seems that the Aussies will remain NO.1 for years to come unless a miracle happens. India may succeed in beating them once in a while whereas the Aussies have beaten all others consistently except South Africa.S.Africa is the only team that gives the Aussies some competition. This is reflected in the ICC rankings where they maintain 1 & 2 ranks respectively.
I fervently hope that India perform the miracle(although it seems unlikely)since India is the only country on the surface of this planet Earth where cricket reigns supreme above all other games. In all other cricket playing countries(very few-around 10 countries) ,cricket is secondary to some other game.

Dont read too much into the Aussie performances
by kamal harish on Oct 05, 2008 11:57 AM

though its heartening to see the young guns giving the Aussies a hard time we can notice that the fast bowlers have not performed that badly in the match...of course the spinner has been taken to the cleaners but the Aussies may well go for an all pace attack...considering the pitches in recent times in India, they should get some help at least in the first two days...

India looses!!!!!
by harish on Oct 05, 2008 01:43 AM  | Hide replies

Everytime India wins a practice match, it looses in the main series. Most of the excellent performances by India have been after losing a series or after an abysmal performance in the practice matches. And Australia, after a humiliating performance against the youngsters come back strong.
Adding to this is Kumble's captaincy which is in no comparison with Dhoni's and with seniors in the back..there won't be anyone to blame. So, Indian most probably looses this series
