Badrinath vd Rohit
by Bhavik Shankar on Oct 04, 2008 03:55 PM  | Hide replies

It is clear the Badrinathis not up to international standard. HE has failed here and in the Irani trophy match against quality bowling.

The selectors have done mistake in replacing him with Rohit

WASIM JAFFER: A SLEEPING CRICKET PLAYER
by vaibhav kumar on Oct 04, 2008 03:42 PM  | Hide replies

He does not like to score runs. He will make 50 in 25 overs; a 100 in almost 40-50 overs; do not want to run to save runs, even do not wish to throw the ball and level it to ball boys on the boundaries to do the favor. Failed miserably in 20-20 from team bangalore. Do not know how to be inventive. Does lack everything needed for a icon for youth of this nation.

Does he represent the type of players, we need in any form of cricket. He is a baggage for INDIAN cricket.

That's for Mr Srikanth (Chairmain od Selector). Otherwise he will arugue that Badri is better player than Rohit , Raina , Virat, Yuvraj...lol. Because players like Badri from Tamilnadu it takes 10-15 overs to get 2 runs...lol

AUSSIES WERE ALLOWED OFF THE HOOK BY LACKLUSTER AND DELIBERATE LEADERSHIP
by vaibhav kumar on Oct 04, 2008 03:16 PM

Yuvraj it seems that deliberately allowed Aissues off the hook. Probably many of the readers may not agree, but that is why, Yuvraj despite being greatest of hitter, may not be able to sustain his talent in longer version.

He has allowed Aussie come back and regrouped them rather than putting his best foot forward to disorient them before the first test. A move which a small common sesne will suggest came out as a retaliation of not being picked for team INDIA. He relaxed as a leader when he should have put pressure and in the process given that breathing space to Aussie, that they will capitalize throughout the series.

Considering we have selected team of great star but on current form non-performers (KUMBLE, DRAVID, GANGULY, RP SINGH etc.), this is enough for Aussies to win the series, despite having brought weakest team ever to INDIA in last decade.

CLARK Vs CLARKE
by Ravi chandran on Oct 04, 2008 02:49 PM  | Hide replies

The former is fast becoming an all-rounder. The latter was touted to be so, but has failed repeatedly.
Clark has nearly 100 partnership in 2 matches. Remember he almost won with Mitchell Johnson in a Test in Australia against India. Today, with Hussey, he has proved to be a thorn again.
