Bowlers are not given credit
by Kumar Subramanyan on Nov 26, 2008 09:09 PM

As usual all cricket ratings are flawed in favour or batsmen. India should try to win even one of these matches without both Zaheer Khan and Ishant - They are being rated at number 7 and number 15. That is a joke.

Sachin

Its really so disgusting to read ppl write abt seeing the above table, sachin hasnt played a ODI for 8 months, and the above table shows his only match played 2 days back, criticism is always accepted, everybody is criticised in india , there is nothing wrong in expressing ones views, From manmohansingh to NarayanMurthy , AB to SRK, everybody have their group of faultfinders, But there should be some meaning in it, unlike the one i found out in this Forum, drawing stupid conclusions of his performance in his only match

Be sensible before saying something
by parthiban chezian on Nov 25, 2008 03:18 PM

Dear Friends,

Most of them here saying Sachin should retire other seniors should retire instead of praising sehwag and yuvraj for leading(actually the article is about that only pls remember)in MVP race....Now coming to the retirement part all the senior players will retire someday and that too a player of sachin calibre will surely know when he has to retire...if he knows his time has come he will surely move out like what dada or jumbo did...what happened to australia and new zealand when most of the senior players left at a time???? Think of their position now...so never go by what you see at the present scenario...it is the proper blend of seniors and juniors will take the team forward...esp in foreign conditions their experience will play a great role...think about the tendulkars knock in the last aussie series and what you would have thought about him at that time...Never forget the past...

Thanks

boss just read these lines:
Sachin Tendulkar [Images] has played just one ODI match this season; but we would do well to remember that he was India's most valuable ODI player in the preceding 2007-08 season.

Cant you see he has played just one match ie the last one in bangalore and you people have started to judge based on that data?????

Pls use some common sense dear..

sachhi baat humesha karwi hoti hain re dear..... but sachin is finished as a player...neverthless he can play politics in team as he did in bangalore by opting the openning slot...these sort of ganguly type mentality will not be tolerable any more...

i dont have any hard feelings about sachin..i believed he should play till 2011.. but the approach he showed by dismentling the opening slot is really disgusting...sachin should have not done it....he is not bigger than the team...

dont just tell whatever comes from ur mouth...kumble is one great gentleman the game has seen...since he was not able to give his 100% in that match only he announced his retirement after the same match...and he didnt even play in the final test
