Anil Kumble is in a league of few legendry sportsmen , who represented India ,without a blemish on their character.-Prakash Padukone,Krishnans/Anands He personified Discipline, Dedication, Determination, un questionable integrity and outright professionalism. A good human being who is a True Role Model for generations to come in any discipline of sports or whatever career one chooses. The present generation of cricketers should note that his achievements in cricket arena are devoid of elbowing, slapping / abusing, and such other misdemeanors. One can be sure that he will excel in whatever post retirement options he chooses. May his tribe increase.
Kumble personified the saying " Accuracy is a winner's policy." If u miss, u r done ! A match-winner in his own right. A humble,large-hearted, daring and committed cricketer, that any team will be proud of. One hopes that younger guys like Amit and Piyush will keep the tradition of leg-spin bowling alive in this country and indeed in the entire cricketing world. It was also very heartening that for once, a champion got the farewell that he deserved and it was a very nice gesture nice gesture on the part of Dhoni to hoist Anil on his shoulders. It was like saying " Relax mate; henceforth, I will shoulder your responsibilities !" The baton has been passed. All the best to Dhoni and his men !

Sorry Kumble, I was also among the bloggers who made some jokes and asked for your retirement. I was not aware that you have made your mind to retire after this series any way.
But, your unexpected decision to retire was emotional to me. You were wonderful and a match winner through out your career. One exception was SL series and the ongoing home series. Anyway, you understand your form and body very well than any one else in the world.
You are the man who never have any controversy on and off the field, like Dravid, Laxman, Sachin and Ganguly. Hope our youngsters will learn the character from you that how to handle power, fame and money..!!
You were a silent performer for Indian team and a silent killer for the opposition. Great work done….!! All the best for future endeavours………..
Kumble a great human being, a fighter , A true match winner. thorough professional team player Highest wkt taker in odis and test for india. Silent performer superb achievement no contraversisy no media hypy. using the oppertunity that came his way , 100 % professional commitment for team, game and gaining success in highest level Never got acclodes by ind media or cric expert whatever he truley deserved .ravi shastri vengi and other kumble basheres including namesake captain got a slap on face by Kumble's decision Best of luck to Engineer Kumble with AK technologies,,

i think jumboo is the greatest indian cricketer.He must be in the top of the list if somebody makes the list of all time great indian cricketer.he is always been under-rated.But who understands cricket knows what a perfect match winner anil is.we, 110 crore indians salute you sir.....we never forget you...Have a nice time rest of the life....

Anil Kumble was a silent assasin. He will bowl one over and by then he has got the batsmen mentally. He would smile and nail the batsmen i a few over. He has been vigourously studied by all coaches and batsmen around the world still he achieved more then 600 wickets .. Hats off to him
