Mallya rightly blames it on cricketers who formed a network to pull in theri lots.But I feel Mallya will ride over this with his instinct for victory.Dravid needs to change and bring in players who can bring success than bat like walls and being at the bottom of the stack.SO another corporate raid on cricket game is on..LOL

I strongly agree with BCCI on the choice of sacking Dravid and likes for this format.Now we will see a new set of plyers hidden by pumpkins at the top.
Dravid being the first victim of corporate pressure....sooner or later we can see more people facing the tune. Cricketers earn crores...and were least bothered when lost. Now this IPL will teach them a lesson or two. But i pitty for dravid he has to face this. But he has the ability to rise!!!!....so to all other crcicketers...welome to corporate world!!!! ha ha ha...and face the music.
Dravid & Laxman were never even one day players forget abt. T-20. Becoz of these two and some others like them god only knows how many one dayers India has lost. Laxman all his life has been complaining that no body considers hom for one dayers...i hope now he has been brought to his senses.

Vijay Mallya is a poor loser, that's all. That guy cannot afford to lose face in front of his industry friends, his posse of girl friends, models, actresses etc. He has been fighting every war todate to the conclusion, be it manu chabbria, kishore chhabria, now heineken etc.
Rahul Dravid has won the toss and Bangalore will bat first. After Dravid speaks, Yuvraj actually hands him a good luck charm (an idol). That reflects Bangalore's state of affairs. They need luck and they need it badly.

no kidding. yuvraj has been doing that against all games that his team does. but the media takes one thing and puts into a different context.
Shane worn ko dekho team ko kaha se kaha le gaya. Aaj top pe hai. Kewal apna pradrashan jarroi nahi, team mai jan phukne ka kam Captain he kar sakta hai aur koi nahi. Apke regular player Zaheer Khan sabse jyada 14 wicket lekr top pe hai, Praveen Kumar 9 wicket le chuka hai. Bowelling achi hai lekin batting nahi chal rahi hai. Batsman are not hitting the ball. Darvid is responsibile for this bad show.
The one big mistake IPL made was this "icon player" stuff. I bet Mallya wouldnt have made Dravid a captain otherwise. Dravid was imposed on his team. If they werent compulsory elements, probably misfits like Dravid & Laxman wouldnt have be selected in any team at all.
They are quality players, but the 5 day show material. T-20 is a blitzkrieg. Snails dont belong here.
