Dear Indians, Support ICL. It's quite good.Just watch a game and you will really find some very good players out there. BCCI is playing foul game by banning it. It has no legal right to ban a professional from practicing his profession.Shame on Sharad Powar and BCCI.

come on, just because you dont like BCCI it doesnt mean ICL is superior to IPL. The strength of IPL is not BCCI but the owners of the teams their creativity and thier big pockets which ICL cannot match up. Also playing the games in thier own city would fillup the stadium. So at the end ICL would fade out in 3 years and IPL would stay if we like it or not. But I think its good for the cricket where we would like to watch the game based on the skill level than the patriotic angle. We dont watch the cricket to boost the ego of Indians or to watch a game like watching a war between two countries. Its basically an entertainments and should be treated as one. I think we Indians takes cricket too seriously than it should be.Indians due to its economic might have other things to be proud of thier country than an Indian team winning against Australia or Pakistan.
Cricket is a stupid game where 11 fat players are fooling around and 11 millions idiots all over India watch the game. while the players make money selling themselves or betting in the sly the poor croud spends productive time whcih our country can not afford watching this game.

yes, of course. Now even ask our politicians about our national game, the answer will be cricket. Because we people of India, choose our leaders and we only made this game so popular that our hockey and other games are slowly ruined.
The only startegy for ICL is they must includes former greats from India and other countries not older then 40 years of age, this will certainly boost television rating, for 20 over game you dont need only young guys even roping some former players who can compete shall help ICLs interest and who knows they may come out better the IPL.

I agree that Zee has started ICL to earn money. No doubt about that. But some ex players have joined them also to do good for Indian cricket. If you take the example of Kerry Packer in late 1970s and 1980s. He also started the rebel league for the same reason as Zee. But he was joined by players like Tony Grieg who wanted to do good for players also. Thats why I think ICL should be supported rather than IPL which has started for only selfish money reasons
