Why are people crying for Indian cricket team?
by on Jan 10, 2008 01:15 PM  | Hide replies

Why are people crying for Indian cricket team? They are playing only for money. They don't want to win. All the players and BCCI care about is money. You guys are innocent bakras in supporting them.

DEAR BINS
HE DOES THAT SO THAT IT SHOULD DAWN ON MILLIONS OF INDIANS THAT CRICKET WHICH IS CONSIDERED TO BE A GREAT GAME IS PLAYED BY VERY FEW COUNTIRES THAT THERE ARE OTHER GAMES WHICH ARE PHYSICALLY MUCH MORE DEMANDING AND INDIANS ARE NOWHERE NEAR INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS IN THESE GAMES. CRYING WILD ABOUT SO CALLED ACHIEVEMENTS IN CRIKCET DOES NOT OBLITERATE THE FACT THAT INDIA IS HELD AS A POOR/MEDICORE SPORTING NATION WORLDWIDE AND CRICKET IS PROMOTED IN INDIA TO NOT ALLOW PEOPLE THINK ABOUT THIS LEST BCCI'S AND PLAYERS' COFFERS BE NOT EMPTY

Procter : A practising Racist
by George Wenzel on Jan 10, 2008 01:14 PM

Mr. Mike Procter had told the media that he knew along what racism means. After all being from tha apartheid era of south Africa. Now his biased actions for similar offences by Latif and Ponting shows that he not only knows but also practises racism

India lost because they were second best in the match. How ever much they indulge in blame game the fact can not be hidden!

Australia is indeed the best team in the world at present. We are not not cribbing about the loss. Fisrt it is the racist slur on Harbhajan which he and Sachin says that he had not mentioned the "monkey" word. Secondly, why if the the umpiring indeed was poor why all th mistakes except one was against India.

Why believe Harbhajan?
by Raj Ram on Jan 10, 2008 01:12 PM  | Hide replies

Guys, the Australian team may sledge hard, but I cannot believe that Harbhajan is as innocent as is made out to be. Being a South Indian, I have encountered several racist taunts from North indians (madrasi, idli/sambar etc). To say that Harbhajan would not have used the Monkey taunt on Harbhajan does not wash with me. Several desis here refer to blacks as "kale", chinese as "Chaptas", Mexicans as "mackoos" etc. Indians are equally if not more racist than what the Aussies are made out to be. And to think that all the monkey taunts on Andrew Symonds during the Aussies India tour was somehow not racist is pure BS. I think the Indian team esp. Harbhajan are all cry babies and are doing this to cover up for their lack of ability to compete with Australia.

By taking this issue to such a level, the Australians have ensured that the name "monkey" will stick to Symonds forever.

Grow up over your insecurities and childhood problems. We are not talking of namby pamby's here. If Harbhajan is indicted for racism, then there should be a precedent. Otherwise you are assuming like a lily (livered) pansy that this is the first time someone has *ever* called someone else names, and that this is the first time some race came into the picture. Ooooh, now that is a brainwave!

Wake up from your Southie vs Northie nonsense and stand up for what is the real issue: Are only Indians guilty of racism, or the entire world is but Indians are easy to crucify (esp with people like you who are hell bent on Southie-Northie divide, all the while piously showing how pure and innocent you are).

PS: I am also a Southie.

We are not denying that India is not a better side than Australia but it does not mean that they can harass us this way. Again, if any North Indian is better, is he licensed to call you Madarasi or so ?
It is all mental. If you are called Chennaite, its not sledging, if you are called Madarasi, you feel humiliated
No one denies that Australia is most arrogant side and they should not be tolerated any more

Ricky You have to check where u are speaking from when u speak.Gentlemen speak from their mouth with one tongue to aid the process.A forked tongue does not belong to gentlemen. It is time u learnt and understood that u are representing Australia and not ragtag outfit and u carry a great responsibility not to tarnish the image of ur country.

Indians, who can't even win properly with Australia are using the Sydney match as an excuse to demand that Ponting quit. The real reason why they want Ricky to go away is because they are afraid of Ricky whose team regularly gives Team India a sound thrashing.

The Aussies are afraid of their captain getting out to Bhaji.Hence they have made a case against him.So its not the Indians afraid of the Aussies, but it is Ponting who is afraid of Harbajan.

Dear Mr. Ponting,

This is for ur kind information that the Australian cricket team was never a loved cricketing team ( so forget the most loved terminilogy ). In fact your team comes very close to being the most hated cricket team ever to set foot on a cricket pitch anywhere in the world.
And for the part of the most respected , forget about it , respect has to be earned. With the way ull play cricket and ur so called high standards, Mr. Ponting u can be rest assured that ur aim will always remain a pipe-dream ( at least for all Indians ).

Sorry ur team is not the best team . U will have to live with this stigma till you go to ur grave.

Take care.
