its really very shameful on part of bcci that they have agreed carry on with the ongoing series, well then it indirectly means that harbhajan has said racial remarks.....its highly unacceptable........bcci is nothing more than a greedy and dirty organisation running for money all the time.......they should have learnt from pakistan......money is not beyond the countries pride.......india is land of mahatma..........what kind of example india is going to give other countries.......most recently shilpa shetty fought with jade guddy for the same cause, and we indians felt proud that we treat every one with equal respects....

BCCI is a PRIVATE company. Government has no representaion nor say in it therefore does not represent the public.
Board of directors are voted with the main purpose of earning profits. They have no obligation to appease anyone except their SHAREHOLDERS which happens to be some of the richest families in this country. Most of them probably have holiday homes in Australia, etc.
The PLAYERS themselves are EMPLOYEES and are paid as such. IT IS AN OLD BOYS NETWORK. That is why some players are chosen not on merit but contacts.
Its funny how normal Indian get so worked up with this when they don't even matter in the bigger scheme of things!

My dear Bhagirth, I am totally disagree with youo. As you said we have a good civilization and culture when comparing to some other countries in the world. India is land of Mahatma I agree that but I am sorry to say that we Indians even do not like the other states peoples. States are fighting each other. I will give u a simple example that in this Message Board of rediff you can see everyday a thousands of abusing messages between Northies, Southies, West and East part of India etc etc. When we are not even respect our fellow citizens what we are talking about we respect other countries. I do not believe on any messages here posting by any Indian.
Its BCCI triumph..............I m not sure Its ICC triumph...............I m not sure Its cricket australia triumph.I m not sure Its racism triumph............I m not sure Its honesty triumph...........I m not sure Its team india's triumph......I m not sure BUT BCCI HAS CHEATED CRICKET FANS AND DIDNT HONOUR NATION's PRIDE BY NOT SOLVING THE BHAJJI ISSUE............I M 100% SURE

Is it worth noting that the entire Italian Football scandal involved hand-picked referees who normally produce favorable decisions? the ICC needs to either stand up and call India's bluff, or accept that they are but the puppet organization for the boards' greed.
One black man endures a disgusting insult, allegedly, and another one gets the sack. How do you like that?
If Symonds and Ponting are making mischief, they should be thrown out of the Australia team for committing the ultimate slander.
But if Harbhajan said it, there is no moral equivalence between calling someone a 'monkey' and Merv Hughes chuntering to England's Robin Smith: 'Mate, if you just turn the bat over you'll find the instructions on the back.'
Or Ian Healy's to departing batsmen: 'Back to the nets.'
Or Allan Border saying to Angus Fraser: 'I've faced bigger, uglier bowlers than you mate, now off and bowl the next one.'
But you can wipe the smile off for the Symonds-Harbhajan case, for reasons that were apparent when Spain's fans monkey-chanted at England's black players in Madrid 2004.
'Monkey' relegates the object to the animal kingdom and evokes slave ships out of Africa, lynchings in America and ramblings of white supremacists.
It dehumanises. It cannot be compared to a bowler telling a batsman he's rubbish, or Shane Warne teasing Paul Collingwood about his premature MBE.
Ponting will unleash his 4 quicks at Harbijan at the WACA like a mad dog.
Indians have definitely created their own graveyard there. There is nothing worse than seeing an Aussie cricket humiliated on their own ground. I hope the the Indians have their helmets checked for safety.
