dude whole team did worst.... n as of now it looks like it will continue in 2nd 3rd n 4th as well...
Indians will never learn. We will pick Dravid, because on 2003 tour, he did.. Sehwag played mindblowing inning in 2003. This is 2008. Dont sleep on past glory. In current form, dravid is hopeless and strugling. Ganguly was in exceptional form against pakistan recently. He should be brought up and Dravid should go down. Jaffer, yuvraj were also in good knick. Change batting order. Ganguly at down is waste. Just because dravid was brilliant in 2003 doesn't mean.. he is same now.. he is shadow of himself. Kick him

Dear do think a little bit before u r telling something bcoz i never ever agree that Ganguly can play better than Dravid...Forget it...one good inning from dravid and even sachin cant match him...

Indrajeet, most people would agree that Dravid is indeed a better test batsman than Ganguly. But, Ganguly is in form now and Dravid is not. We need these in-form batsmen to put up a huge score. Only then will Kumble be able to take some risks, bowl aggresivley, set an attacking field and lead the team to victory. He can't do much if our batsman can't score even 200 runs.

The problem is that Ganguly does not want to open. Dravid is offering to open since there is nobody willing to take on the responsibility. Understand that. Given a choice, Dravid would like to come in at No. 3.

Does not make a difference whether he plays as opener or number 3 .. As one of the opener gets out in 1st over always against AUS :))..So dont throw that reason..Dravid is not playing well for long time even when he was at number 3 ..

I think the best opening combination is Sehwag and Ganguly. Sehwag is aggresive and Ganguly is in form. Plus a left-right combination will create problems for the bowlers.

jaffer is new .. dont compare dravid with JAffer .. we expect much more from Dravid as he is playing a lot and earning a lot for last 10 years ..

where is dhoni? who is going to keep wickets? karthik? didnt you see the last test when karthik kept wickets? noticed how many extras were given away, even a kamran akmal who was desperately out of form with keeping gave away less extras. Also jaffer should be given chances, he has played well in whatever chances he has got and open with shewag. with dravid at #3 and also with zaheer in place of pathan. Pathan does not have the bowling to help get 20 wickets.
rahul dravid should be in the team not only for this test but for all the games India has to play in the next 10 yrs, he needs that confidence(that the ad money will keep coming his way) to score. I think so long a fellow madrasi is the captain he can rest assured of his place.
