What a waste of time and money! This is the only damn sport we are able to compete in and even then we suck big time. Its time we started spending money and effort on other sports.

India has not lost a single match with Kanitkar in the team, we need him back, only he can save us and we will be the world champions in all forms of cricket like before, Kanitkar ko lekar aao....

Raju is 2nd best, number is Hrishikesh Kanitkar, and both are not in IPL, IPL sux big time taking only weak players. The likes of Raju nd Kanitkar are missing sadly...

Yes Singh u r the only 1 who can understand me & my feelings..But not Hrishikesh Kanitkar he has just won 1 game 4 India (Last ball 4) but Raju has won 1000'S of games 4 India with his bat & bowling..
ICL is the one who started to do something for the cricketers and everyone knows the intentions of IPL and why it is started. We need to appreciate ICL for taking the steps, and their bold approach, even with the dirty tactics by BCCI in not supporting the ICL. They even spoilt the careers of young cricketers who joined ICL.

Don't know who is the winner. But one thing is for sure - TV viewers ought to prepare themselves to view millions of ads. Presently, even as the final ball of the over is bowled, Ads takeover the screen before the ball is 'dead'. Now that overheads have sky-rocketed, what with the players being overpaid, I expect ads will be projected soon after the 5th ball of the over itself. How else can the broadcasters recover costs? .... Ha! Ha! You thought you'd get to watch cricket's finest without pain...? No pain, No gain ! Can any dude innovate a set-top controller that switches the screen over to cool music videos as soon as the ads splash on the screen and return to the 'live' game when the ads fade out ??? Eh! all you jiving electroncs whizzes, stop farting and turn useful!

I completely agree with you. It is a big pain to watch cricket like this. To me watching a soccer or tennis is far more "entertainment without disturbance"
The IPL will work only on the loyalty of the the players to their respective cities. If I see a Uthappa or Kumble playing for say Mumbai or Chennai, I may not care about watching Bangalore's matches.., I am sure the sentiment is the same with others.
with the cricketing calender filled with so many international games, there is hardly any time left for people to watch these inconsequential games.i mean who cares which city wins.only the games involving the nation are worth watching.and you are not going to unearth any real talent for the future from these games.a comment by chandrasekhar made it clear where the priorities lie.he said they are looking for players who had hit the maximum no of sixes in domestic cricket to play for their team.indirectly,he told that they are looking for good sloggers.and with only 20 overs to play and seven top international players in each team, the domestic guys will hardly get a chance to showcase their talent.in short the tournament is for people who have enough time to waste and nothing to do in their lives. only one other thing could have been done.all the players should have been pareded in their chaddis with their price tag attached around their necks.

well said. You are right dada. I am agree with you. Why not they are spending money on the education of children. by paying such a huge amount to this players it will ultimately increase the inflation. If people avoid to see matches (not just IPL matches but cricket match ) then they will save 8hrs to 10 Hrs (i.e. one working day) and we will become super power before 2020 and the dream comes true of our great former President Sir Kalam.
this must be the IPL anthem and every player should remember it by heart. This should be sung before the start of every match to let every player know why he is here and for what he is playing for.
cash to da left for me, cash is right for me cash to da the front for me, cash is the back for me cash is the day for me, cash is nite for me cash on mind making money all da time cash meri saaason mein, cash meri aankhon mein cash mere dil mein bhi, cash meri baahon mein cash meri khwaabon mein, cash meri yaadon mein cash on mind making money all da time (yeh to seedhi seedhi baat hai, chaahe din hai ya raat hai kismat apne hi saath hai, paisa feko tamasha dekho) - 2 yeh nasha kya nasha, hai yeh kaisa nasha jismein saara jahaan dil haar gaya cash to da left for me, cash is right for me cash to da the front for me, cash is the back for me cash is the day for me, cash is nite for me cash on mind making money all da time
