Yes my uncle used 2 work 4 BCCI as a peon 4 almost 10 years..Raju was the highest paid cricketer of his time..He carried the whole team on his shoulders throughout the 1990's

Get ur facts right he was not a fast bowler..He was a spineer who spins the ball like a TOP on any given surface..
I would have gone mad if Robin utthappa had won over Suresh Raina, but Suresh Raina didn't do any worse in comparison... I do not like utthapa over Suresh Raina.. Robin has too many batting holes, and is always moving on the plate (baseball term for creasse).. He can only bat while walking, yet to see him do the actual batting instead of fire cracking... Dhoni must give Suresh Raina his chances... He hasn't played a single match in 6 odi's India so far have played.

V raju is one of bull shit cricketers india have ever produced. It was hard to keep him out when Azhar was the captain. But things changed for good when saurav took over.

I have crappy idea of who is Venkatapathy Raju.. From the profile i checked on cricinfo, the player came out from Hydrabad, and had not so impressive Numbers... Unless, i have a wrong profile, i do not give a crap... I like Suresh Raina's batting..

Suresh Raina is a kid in front of my Raju..Raju is termed by ICC as the 2nd best allrounder in the world after Gary Sobers..

I dont take anything away from what you told about Raju, but cant accept Ganguly is the best offside player. You have to see how Gav, Vishy and even tendulkar play on the offside. I will rate laxman and Yuvi as better offside players than ganguly.

Raju is the best...!! He was not given a chance to prove his batting skills like ganguly or else even he would have scored around 9k runs like ganguly..!! Dravid would have told this to raju " first there is god then Venkatapathy raju and then maybe ganguly (if mcgrath,lee,shoaib,asif,etc) are not bowling and (if match is held in india on wickets without grass..!!)
Sir Donald Bradman calling Shame Warne & Venkatapathy Raju @ his Adelaide Residence 2 meet him..Bradman told Raju that when he plays he reminds Don of his cricketing days..Sir Don compared Raju with himself..
