INDIAN MEDIA ALWAYS WRITES AGAINST PLAYERS FOR DOING ADS FOR MONEY ETC ETC. NOW AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS WERE READY TO SACRFICE THEIR NATIONAL PRIDE FOR MONEY. WHO ARE BEST. SACHIN WILL OPT OUT OF 20-20 AS IT IS CHILD AND BEGINERS GAME IRRESPECTIVE OF THE AMOUNT THAT THEY WERE OFFERING HIM. THATS FOR SURE.
SO WHO IS GREAT INDIAN PLAYERS OR AUSSIES? SO MEDIA SHOULD NOT BLAME OUR PLAYERS AND SHOULD SUPPORT THEM ESPECIALLY SACHIN SORT OF PERSON SHOULD NOT BE ILL TREATED AS MONEY HUNGRY, SELFISH ETC. SACHIN IS GREAT GREATER AND GREATEST FOREVER AND EVER.
These leagues have, and further will destroy game of CRICKET. Its spirit, old world charm, individual performances, laid back atmosphere in 5 day games, technical perfection, all have been sold and sacrificed in one day format, and this 20-20 is final nail in coffin. Ever new cricketer will not focus on technique, only how to hit fours and sixes, in whatever manner. Sledging, abusing, and making the matter of national pride, all bad things have already crept into this gentlemans game. Was this game played by Richards, Bradman or Sobers? Lalit Modi may make financila sense out of this Tamasha cricket, complete with half nude cheer leaders, but he has made the game of cricket, a complete nonsense...just to be in competition with Zee league.

>> old world charm But this is a new world buddy. >> Was this game played by Richards, Bradman or Sobers ? No, coz it wasnt invesnted then...i guess u know why twenty-20 came into life...to save cricket from being destroyed by soccer and other sports in england...and it has served its purpose...it has got the crowd back...look any cricket lover knows test is the ultimate format...any cricketer knows to be grt he has to perform in test matches...but u cant take away the charm of t-20...in this fast paced world the new generation will always prefer it...and u jst cant deny that
Players obviously want to keep their hand on both tablas! Hence there should be a clear guideline from ICC in this regard. Who will not be lured particularly those who are at the fag end of their international cariers.

Lol yeah, this's what i'm talking about. You know, this is human nature. In England too, the people there support Manchester United with probably higher passion than supporting their national team..

No he is a petty money launderer cum Dalal, who is in limelight due to his political and mafia connections
The only motivation for spectators would be participating overseas players - that too good ones. If this does not happen, execpt for the euphoria in the initial stages, the interest will die down. Do you see spectator interest in doemstic matches ? Expect nothing different over the medium and long term from the IPL tournament. Because it is 20/20 it may sustain the interest for sometime, but eventually it will wane. Take overseas players out of the equation, spectator interest in the IPL will dry out very quickly
Where will BCCI run to if IPL fails? With too many games and a crammed schedule, it almost looks headed that way. Why dont they simply increase the number of international T20 matches, if they are so desperately in need of money?

For BCCI this is not for the money..its more because of the ICL...BCCI had earlier declared that they will start a tournament of their own to counter the ICL...But it looks like BCCI has got more then wt it bargained for
