Test Suad
by RG on Dec 04, 2008 04:58 PM

Yuvraj Singh and Pragyan Ojha have been included in the 15-man squad for the two-Test series against England. Tamil Nadu's M Vijay, who debuted in the final Test against Australia last month, and S Badrinath have been retained for the series, scheduled to start in Chennai on December 11.

Yuvraj made two consecutive match-winning hundreds (138* and 118) against England in the first two ODIs of the seven-match series, and also picked up a four-wicket haul in Indore. Kris Srikkanth, the chairman of selectors, had said that he saw Yuvraj as the front-runner to take Sourav Ganguly's slot.

Yuvraj has had an inconsistent run in Test cricket, having played just 23 matches for 1050 runs since his debut five years ago. However, he has been a mainstay for India in one-day cricket having piled up 6466 runs in 222 matches. It has now been confirmed that Yuvraj is Ganguly's Test replacement.

Ojha, who toured Sri Lanka with the Test team this summer but has yet to make his debut, replaced RP Singh, who had an indifferent ODI series against England. There are no other changes to the bowling line-up

India: Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt/wk), Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman, S Badrinath, Harbhajan Singh, Amit Mishra, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma, Munaf Patel, M Vijay, Yuvraj Singh, Pragyan Ojha

Not just politicians. All those who are corrupt. Who take bribes, who give bribes. Who do not care for people around them. Who do not mind breaking laws (even jumping signal) with chalta hai attitude.

It is all of us, who made this country the way it is today. We take an excuse to do something wrong and find a petty reason to substantiate it (the mistake we realise know deep down). But the fate makes us pay 100 times, in the form of 'law of unknown consequences'.

We 'proud' Indians who brag about Gandhi's, Nehru's, Tagores, Netaji's, Bhagat Singh's, Laxmi Bai's are parasites just like spoiled kids of a rich dad. We just dont realise and respect the sacrifices of those fighters, we do not respect the freedom.

Historically, we have been slaves and deserve to be the same. Shame on us, even at this point of disaster, we try to blame others, could be police, could be politicians, could be a party, could be a nation (pak), could be a religion.

Did we ever try to do a self introspection, what can I do to make a change. We dont vote, we dont be vigilant in public places, we do not stop bribing, we cannot even hold on to a piece of scrap until we see the next garbage bin.

It is we who made this filth, we deserve to live in this.

What congress want?
by Anurag Rathore on Dec 04, 2008 12:30 PM  | Hide replies

1.Why Afjal Guru is still alive?
2.Why they lifted Pota?
3.Why congress leaders always blame BJP on castes, religion? Who is playing dirty politics on caste and religion basis?

Congress is root of corruption because they are ruling India from 50 years. If they couldn't do anything in 50 years, they can't do in next 5 years also.

1. Vote bank politics. Vote is for power. For power is political party.
2. "Human rights and civil liberty groups fought against it.
The United Progressive Alliance government of India committed to repealing the act as part of their campaigning."
3. Except BJP all other play it safely. They openly accuse a particular community

'All are safe and are equal in India none are harassed, India heaven for living' should be the message.
Then International support easily accessable.

Tactically good politicians always know the pulse of the people. They know very well to market their products.
Competition in politics is so severe now that during election period there are so many factors which need specialist. From Manifesto preparation to Voters list preparation to Caste community classification to Voters need etc.

Fact
by Abhijit on Dec 04, 2008 10:55 AM  | Hide replies

To say attack Pakistan is so easy, but in practical for that a country need to be self sufficient,
We always have Government at Centre which are not stable and if it is stable a Hung Parliament always. To take a decision on domestic matter too there is a long delay and no need to say about International matters.
And the most important is that country need to be financially sound enough to face the consequences. A war now is not like a war we see in Ramayana or Mahabharath, bombs missiles, and all costly things will be used and both Pakistan and India too will have losses.

Work hard without caring for religions, castes, community etc.
Respect other religions and faiths as if yours.
Basic needs food, shelter, cloths should have to be there for all.
Industralisation needs to be there and so too promotion of agriculture.
Many more

Did you know that there is a system in our constitution, as per the 1969 act, in section "49-O" that a person can go to the polling booth, confirm his identity, get his finger marked and convey the presiding election officer that he doesn't want to vote anyone!
If you want to more about the same, please feel free to e-mail me at bumba3010@yahoo.co.in
I shall be thankful for contributing in any way in this movement.

OK , u will not vote anyone then what will happen..... do you have the guts to go and ask for votes for others....its easy to say I will not vote..politcians are culprit..but how many of us wants to become a politician...all our childhood our we will dream for a career , essentially industrilist/doctor/engineer/ca something soemthing ..not of a politician....becuase those are very easy ..u only need to be intelligent to become a doctor...but you need many others support(here say vote , either by force or by heart)to become a politician......don't always blame them ..there must be many real politican who have struggled to acheive that.... coem forward and then blame then..yes there may eb few corrupt people..but that is there every where....

we need to support the politician to improve the system ....rather then just blaming them..
