cricket?!
by eastender on Dec 03, 2008 08:41 PM

its a shame that few of my country men feel like seeing a game of cricket after seeing that ghastly act of terror. a suggestion - could you pls put your voice in fav or people who wants to bring an accountability in our system. if you cant do that, then at least dont shame them by talking abt a cricket match in india!!

by keshava moorthy on Dec 03, 2008 07:12 PM  | Hide replies

My God. How can ENGLAND players and people say like this. They forgotten Ashes series during middle of London bomb blast. Don't you think it is also bad??? USA open Grandslam tennis happened immediately after twin tower attack... Don't show double standard. Its all because Indians started dominating in Cricket.

that was one of attack in years. Nothing happened there after. They are not afraid, but they are concerned that nothing changes in India. It can happen again, any time and any where in India. Becoz people do not have will to demand security and do something. You freak... India has seen more than 20 terror attacks in this year.... were we able to stop ?

You dont need to do a murder, but you can and you should do a surgery. No need of full fledged war with Pak, but certainly the terror camps and their hide outs can be distroyed. In doning so you will get every cjance to have tussle with Pak army, as half the jihadis are from CIA. This will be time hit them with all the vengence.

Boycott is right
by Suraj Bulusu on Dec 03, 2008 07:08 PM  | Hide replies

I find Boycott's comments pretty fair. Do we need sportsentertainment in the current situation in India?
I personally feel there should not be anything done even in the form of entertainment to soothe our anger and hurt. Every Indian must carry this hurt with himher till they come together to affect a turnaround which propels our country, India into the developed nations category.
More so, when questions are being asked on the need for Police and NSG cover to VIPs rather than common citizens.....providing security cover to the cricketers and splurging money on cricketing events is the last things India needs now......

Double Standards???
by William Lewis on Dec 03, 2008 06:53 PM  | Hide replies

Has Mr. Boycott forgotten that the Ashes were held within 2 weeks of the London bomb blasts. The fact Mr. Boycott is "raw" and "simple", you guys fear a 2-0 white wash similar to your 5-0 crushing. Bring it on!!! India Rocks!!!

He is a poooooooooooooooooooooooooooor analyser like his fellow Englishmen.
These british always treat ashes as "real cricket" and reast all as "useless".But the fact is that they are so desperate each and everytime to get whitewashed with aussie..
