Taliban........
by Anurag Rathore on Dec 04, 2008 10:20 AM  | Hide replies

Taliban is openly supporting Pakistan and warning India. Why Manmohan singh is still quiet? Pak is not going to hand over 20 fugitives.
We have enough international support. Why we are not taking any strong action.

US support through Rice words:

Asked whether the series of terror attacks in Indian cities warranted Indian military strikes, Ms. Rice wanted New Delhi’s response judged by its effectiveness which avoids “unintended consequences.”
She assured India that the U.S. would work “very closely” to bring the perpetrators of the attack to justice and prevent further strikes of this kind.

Forget about Rice. Obama is coming. What he said is more important.

US had successful war against Afghan & Iraq, isnt it? They succeeded in removing Taliban, Alqaeeda from the world.
And in the process though their Treasury too had good result. The budget deficit is increasing every year.

I think all Indian fans should boycott cricket for the time being. Dont spend money on entertainment right now. We have lost so many people and entertainment at this juncture seems premature. This is my view however, cant force it upon others

Please forget cricket for some days
by tanmoy on Dec 04, 2008 12:52 AM

Why not BCCI forget cricket for some days, atleast for 2-3 months??????Here noone knows how many terrorist had entered in India(thanks to Indian intelligence)???Why should BCCI risks cricketer's life????Is money is more important to BCCI than life???
BCCI please organise some charity match to help the victims instead of test series now.I think that is more appropriate now for India.

ignorance double standards
by giri nari on Dec 04, 2008 12:39 AM  | Hide replies

1. Mohali is 25 miles from the pakistan border .... D-uhh !!!

2. Did the Ashes of 2005 stop when less than two weeks before London was bombed - and the public transport underground system at that ! - NO.... The Ashes went ahead, and Londoners (and all Britain) was (justifiably) proud about getting back in their feet so quickly. Why is it incomprehensible that Indians can too?!

PS: wanna check the size of britain with that of India - the reason for this is bombed out london is closer to most other cricket playing centers in britain than the alternate venues suggested within India !

by Ramesh Kapoor on Dec 03, 2008 09:31 PM  | Hide replies

Did the world stop visiting UK? Boycott is afraid that England will be beaten in the two test series, and it will be a shame post 0-5 loss in the ODIs. Only Dr. Manmohan Singh lose sleep during those bomb attacks, though.

Oh yeah nilesh? Remember, it is the British who are the root cause for all these disasters. Had they not come to our country 200 before, India and Pakistan would not have been separated and would have been one major force. And ramesh is absolutely right. After 5-0 drubbing, it is gonna be 2-0 drubbing. And boycott wanna save his boys from that. Come on you spineless boycott, your team is going to face only the worst. First here in India and then the world champions are waiting for you at the ASHES.

Yes for one I dont think it will be a 2-0 drubbing. But does it really matter? As fans or citizens of India are we in a mood to host a cricket series? I this series is in a bad taste. Thanks to England for coming overpyrPd

its a shame that few of my country men feel like seeing a game of cricket after seeing that ghastly act of terror. a suggestion - could you pls put your voice in fav or people who wants to bring an accountability in our system. if you cant do that, then at least dont shame them by talking abt a cricket match in india!!
