It is Captains ground decisions which makes no difference between senior and junior. Then, why Saurav had not been made as team's captain in the absence of Kumble ? It is indeed very high that saurav is still in the team. Don't make huge noise against Upcoming heroes. Old is old

Yes i agree that Proteas are arrogant.Smith is mentally disturbed with the pitch he is given.Proteas have become mentally weak after seeing this pitch.Dale Steyn has become overconfident and arrogant. He thinks he is the best bowler but i think after 2 or 3 years he will become a bad bowler.he just bowls fast and he is not accurate like Ntini.SA will lose this test because of their overconfidence and arrogance.

You are pessimistic....India will make over 400 and Dravid will score a big hundred...
And then Chawla and Bhaji will dismiss them for under 150 in 2nd innings....

Pathans lack of pace makes him less desirable as a pure bowler, and since they were playing only 4 it was natural to select someone with seam and pace. I thought Sree was unlucky to not get a wicket. But great effort from India. On this pitch India can easily get 400 if they bat to their potential. I see the series tied 1-1 and the match getting over by day 4. Ishant is a huge difference to the team aand we surely missed him in the first 2 games.

pathan will be missed in batting, he is our very important batsman, whenever the real batsmen fail he is the only one who comes in handy

i think 350 shd have been decent compatative total.tommorow first session will give better answer to your question.
India needs a gradual switch over to a young, energetic and committed team under a dyanamic captain. The seniors have done yeoman service and have indeed done India proud but are now aging and canot fight physical and mental decline anymore. They need to play selectively on a rotational basis giving youngsters a chance to take their place. They need to consider retirement from active international cricket and continue with League cricket like the IPL/ICL and English county cricket. The bowlers have done their job. It could have been better but for poor fielding. Now the batsmen specially the seniours must play well to ensure a good winning score.Failures like Srisanth need to concentrate more on cricket rather then histrionics and publicity otherwise should be dropped from the team.Players like Gambhir and others need to be encouraged and given more chances then the seniors or non-performers.Performance rather then past reputation should be the criterion for selection if we want to win and maintain a high standard to become No 1 Team.
