The only difference was that India did not make a huge score either. After that test SA came back with a vengeance and destroyed India in next test. Since then they never looked back. Would India do the same in next test. Highly doubtful, unless it is a dead batting pitch in which case our bowlers would again struggle.

I meant India did not make a huge score in that test, whereas SA will go on to make 550. India chasing 450 to save the game? Forget it.They cant bat for more than a day in 2nd innings.

India will score 600 in second innings

India will score 600 and then get SA all out by 100 on last day and win. First innings collapse was a trick.

This is called "India Can Still WIN SYNDROME". Even if we need 100 Runs on Last ball, people still hope that some chamatkar will happen courtesy of 3300000 Devi Devtas in India. :)

Best of luck. Be sane

Captains are brainless donkeys!
by Rajesh R on Apr 04, 2008 10:28 PM  | Hide replies

This case is not new for indian team! The captains are not learning lessons...If we analyze the previous we can see lot such cases in the history..starting from azharuddin...
case1:world cup held in India
azhar took bowling first after won the toss without giving respect to the pitch...claiming his batsmen are in good form..result: india was out of world cup, they lost to Srilanka.
case 2:World cup held in England
Azhar took bowling first after won the toss without looking on the pitch...He claimed his batsmen are in good form..result India lost to australlia and was out of tournament.
case 3: world cup held in South Africa:
Ganguly took bowling after won the toss without looking on the pitch...claiming his bowlers are in good form, result India lost to aussies and lost world cup too.
case 4: world cup in West Indies.
Dravid took batting againist Bangladesh without looking on the pitch by thinking baglas as a small team and his world class batsmen need batting practice. but what happnd?? India was out of the tournament bcoz of there loss to bangla.
Now Kumble too batting first in a greenish pitch says his batsmen are in good form. u tell me what is the result?? that idiot kumble have to understand even indian batsmen are not able to defeat bangla...his batsmen cant do it to south africa..without the help of pitch...
atleast now..foolish indian captains..pls dont spoil our name...respect the pitch..pls....pls.. for gods sake..ur batsmen are not super natural..they ar

Refer WC 2003 : India got skittled out for 125 runs to Australia while batting first in league stage and lost the match heavily, in the final the reverse happened - it only proves Australia in WC 2003 was far far ahead not only to India but all the teams in the World and we emotional Indians were hoping for a huge upset and stated believing it. It is simply senseless to single out Ganguly's decision for the defeat. By far he was the most sensible, strategic and effective captain India had in last 20-25 years or ever.

thats the spirit , amit is a loser like so many other so called cricket fans , who instead of battling it out starts prying for rain at the first sign of defeat , if u want to pray for rain pl do so when there is a drought and the crops are dying on the ground , not for a silly game called cricket

Rain will save India, a victory is still posssible
by Minto on Apr 04, 2008 10:23 PM  | Hide replies

The pitch has become very easy to play. India can easily bat for 2 days if players apply themselves. I can see Sehwag, Dravid, Sourav and Dhoni scoring big on this dead pitch. Bhajji and Kumble will bundle out SA below 100 in 4th innings when the pitch will turn like crazy.

its the problem in india. v dont hv choice of selecting the channels v want to see. even dth platform doesnt give u option to select or reject the channel in the bouquet. a customer shud b given option to select individual channels instead of bouquet. best wud b CAS but with individual choice of channels only.
