RE:Bhaji dont have guts to bowl last over

Dhoni rightly took him out.
I am assuming that harbhajan did not have the choice. If he did and declined to ball that shows this guy knows his limitation. Knowing harbhajan, I dont think he has that much courge of character.
Victory or no victory. Harbhajan has to improve and contribute. Othere wise he will remain a dead wood in the team.

what is everyone talking about, Guys even the so called Sreesant was hit for 2 sixes by Sohail Tanvir, in his 19th over before he got the 9th wicket. Cricket is a funny game, so called brave heart Joginder Sharma bowled in pressure , would you believe he bowled a wide ball, the amount of pressure, then he got hit for a six full toss ball. No one has the guts , it was a wise move by Dhoni not to try spin in the last over. Infact Dhoni should have tired joginder during the 18th over. Harbhajan is a hard worker a great bowler. So point in picking on the champions. It was a final match not an easy task to bowl the end overs. play cricket to know the pressure.
who wanted words of wisdom from this bowler who has oversatyed his welcome--harbhajan is a useless player.cant understand why all & sundry are giving iterviews--is there no gag on them?
Why you so called journos are so afraid of asking tough questions? Why there was no word about Harbhajan shying away from bowling the last over. It is suitable for the senior most pro? Please keep PR interviews out of Rediff

yes. good pr agents arrange interviews. apart from bhaji, the other pr favourite player is sreeesanth who talks less on field but more off the field.
Ever since Team India won the 20-20 WC almost every member of the victorious team has started giving interviews to Media. Now that euphoria of victory is cooled down it is better our players come out of the hangover and think about the future matches before them. Ofcourse the way they were showered with money no cricketar need bend his back for rest of his life. I only hope too much money at the too young age will not spoil our dynamic youngsters. They should not be carried away by this sudden success and maintain the winning run for atleast next five years.
The final was played between India and Pakistan, It wouldn't have mattered who so ever would have won the cup. After all both are children of the same mother. The cup would have been home their home or our home, makes no difference. From what I know that people of Pakistan are as good as Indians. It is the politicians and some other vested interests who don't want peace, otherwise it will not serve their best interests. It is a gravy train for some people, that until these two countries are at war they have their interests taken care of. As soon as they stop fighting, it stops their benefit. A normal person has to work hard to feed his children whether India or Pakistan, so give peace a chance and don't waste money or buying military arsenal, instead use that money to feed the hungry, it will go a long way for both the countries.

You said it right dude. And everybody realise it is a fact and requirement of time.
But are all human beings, and not great like Gautam Budha to forgive everybody. When people throws shit on us and target the religions , we too forced to return it back with interest to them.

Honourably said. However we feel sad that at J&K quarrel was there making them in two groups. In India itself our rivals are persists. Then, what would be the mind of our Pak brothers?

Mother may be same but fathers appear to be different considering the statement made by Pakistan Captain after his teams defeat in the final!

But he cleared the air, he said he wasn't comfortable wit english lang. and he wasn't meant to harm anyone's sentiment. He said his tounge got twisted and instead of saying all of them, he said all muslims......so why to make a fuss when a person apologises.
Is it suitable for the literate people to critise anyone and make fun of his unfurnished skills ?

Yes Ram..rightly pointed out!!! Such statements are made when the child doesnt know about his parents.... If we have to go by the Pakistan Captain's statements, then by playing well..Pakistan has made India more proud than they have done to Pakistan..that is simply because, there more Muslims in India, than that in Pakistan. If there is somebody who has even read a little bit of the holy Quran, would know that such statements actually degrade the very integrity of a religion.. Religion they say is the opium of the masses..We have seen that around the world...be it a Muslim Mosque, a hindu temple or a Catholic church...Maybe, these guys making such comments are not to be blamed so much. Propaganda, upbringing and pursuit of cheap popularity makes one make such statements publicly, more often than not......

he is a piece of shit.. he is a mediocre shit, being over hyped & having his time. Question of time before he gets out of the squad.

krish - I am not talking of a replacement. I am just saying this guys isnt worth the hype & hoopla. He cant just turn the ball, even piyush chawla turns the ball. For his experience, he looked like a mouse on finals when a tailend batsman like sohail clobbered him for sixes. Thats something i hate & he doesnt deserve giving interviews. His bowling wasnt any way impressive in T20. But i am pretty sure, there are better guys than this monkey.

what will u say regarding Sreesanth, i think he was the bowler who was thrashed by Sohail tanvir in the 4th last over for 2 sixes berore being bowled??

Even Bret Lee was lofted for six by Yusuf Patthan Does it mean Lee is bad? But I agree that Harbhajan is just below ordinary bowler.

Don't dump bhajji like that..even the fastestest or the cleverest bowlers would be thrashed in a T20 match...Onething I agree with you that we have got better spinners than him and Bhajji should not think that he is indispensable...

ABSOLUTELY RIGHT--WHAT HE FORGETS TO MENTION IS THAT HE DID NOT HAVE THE GUTS TO BOWL THE LAST OVER--He is also one of the guys who craetes a lot of hassles in the team--support Dhoni--my foot!!!
This guy is loser #1 and a living example of a non performer and a shameless specimen. India was on winning streak in the match against pak. until this super hyped useless so called "spinner" came in - with years of international exposure, he was hammered for 3 sixes & a less known jogider sharma was asked to bowl the last over. Dhoni wasnt confident of giving the ball to this bloody goose - yet he jumped and yelled after winnning with no contribution. I wonder why he is made part of the playing 11 and not yet fired. You guys took an interview of this monkey? shame. Harbhajan show some shame - resign and sit in a farm and do nothing, suits best for a guy like you.

by debashis mondal on Sep 29, 2007 11:49 AM
hey guys don't forget that he is the one who turned around the match in our favour in the semis against the Australians. he just yielde two runs in the 18th over with two wickets. so accept his greatness too.
RE:Morons..
by Arrow on Sep 30, 2007 01:47 PM
He picked only one wicket at the cost of 24 runs, while sreesanth, amateur joginder & pathan each claimed 2 wickets. Even symonds hit this guy for a six.but see any bowler is bound to get hit. But the quality of the bowler is tested only under pressure & during the end overs, bhajji for his experience never bowls the tail overs - for obvious reasons. He will be a "MATCH WINNER" - for the opposition :-)
