Boss all this pampering is to send message to budding cricketers that BCCI has more money to spend than ICL So subtle message to them keep away from ICL
Seems like our politicians have nothing else to do..Come on its just a game...Why so much crap after winning.Instead of showering crores of rupees on these already filthy rich cricketers, govt should do something for the people who are dying due to poverty..What a country..I feel ashamed for being part of such a unbalanced country

ur name is correct chhappan tikali. I am in US and I see people celebrate even on small achivement. Aus won twon world cup but we won world cup against Pak. We won again pakistan. Do you know the meaning of that.It might be little too much but its ok.And if you feel shame then we are ashamed that u r born Indian.

BCCI is a rich body and the Hockey Association is poor. BCCI not celebrating the event is not going to make the Hockey Association richer. There are millions of people who do not have money to celebrate Divali. So does this mean that those who have the money should refrain from celebrating. Remember that BCCI is using their own money for celebration, not your or any other tax payer's money. You have no business to object to the celebrations.
If BCCI is rich, it is not because of reason. It is because of the popularity that we, the people of India, have given to cricket! Don't blame BCCI for the plight of other games in the country!

We are different from the Australians and we have a different passion for cricket. When our team loses, we spare no effort in hurling abuses and brickbats at our team. It would be fair to honour them when they have performed well.
Don't talk about what other countries do. For that matter, it is common for a team winning WC soccer to receive similar reception in their countries. Nothing wrong because the tax payer is not going to be burdened by the celebtrations. BCCI is rich and can pay from their own pockets.
