Now where does religion get into sport. Look a profession as a profession the personalities as the REAL HEROES/HEROINES as SRK mentioned yesterday. Please do not bring in religion into these and make it look abusive

Muslims has contributed largely for the development of the nation. They still need to improve on the grounds of literacy and educations. If muslims in India can pull that off they will sunddenly feel themseleves in the mainstream of India and that will make India run at a more faster pace...let us not get the religion here...we need every talented guy working for the betterment of India irrespective of the religion...that is how great nations are build.

It is people like Pankie who are mindlessly destroying our nation. There is no hindu or muslim. Only INDIANS. All indians are my brothers are sisters. Whether they are hindus, muslims,sikhs, christians. aethists or what ever.

Mr.jonson k, what do you have to say on Shoaib's statement. There is no doubt that we are Indians first and our religious orientations later. That is one reason why we have near hundred percent contributions from all residents of India for the nation. This is a sport, which needs not be attached to any particular religion. Its a very regrettable statement which you as a true Indian should endorse as wrong.

just 10% Muslims work for India, Rest are all rooting for Pakistan. From out they claim indian but inside they are all Pakis. Remember it is we Hindus, who pamper and nuture the people like Sania, Sah rukh, Kalam. Who can deny without Yash Chopra...no Sahrukh, wthout Atal... no kalam. But see in all Islamic part tell me how much they nurture Hindus..... they just kill. Proud to be Hindu... Proud to be Indian.
Comment from Shoib was ridiculous, I do not understand why pak players always put religion behind the cricket. This is the reason why cricket-playing countries do not like Pakistan. Cricket should be put as professional game, winning and loosing are part and parcel of game.
The match was completely in the hands of pak, but patience and young Indian guys confidence made India win.
I congratulate India and Indian captain to keep going.
Pakistan should take in good spirit, As they had almost got the match in hand, But it was not their day in the end. So BE COOL. Unbeleivably Thrilling Climax unfolded yesterday. Great going for DHONI & Team. Congratulation to all team members for solid display of Indian Talent. If they go from now on with the same passion than they can definitely match or even outmatch Australian in oozing confidence. This fearless approach is needed all the time if they want to maitain the momentum.
The Seniors (Tendu, Gangu, Dravid & Sehwag) looks from bygone era, when we compare with this young lot. They should get the hint now to part ways in style and with pride.
It is interesting to know that Mr President Pervez Musharraf has an inspirational talk with Shoab before the match. this comment of the "Muslims" seems the words of the President and not of the cricketer like Shoab
Mr. Malik, you are representing Pakistan and not Muslim World. Educated Muslim has open mind not narrow mind as you have shown to the world. You are perhaps representing Pakistani Mind not Muslim Mind and you have lost to Bharat(India) and to Hindu Cricket Team.

man of the match was Irfan Pathan-there is no lace for religion in sport-pak captains outlok was very narrow-hence they lost-u cannot win either war or game by being fanatic
