Still, if they defeat Pakistan, it will be a huge one. Pak on the given day, can play worst than Indians can do. But, if Pak is competitive today, we may well see, India joining West Indies and probably Australia, on their way to home.
Even if they qualify, they are not prepared mentally, strategically or morally, to win 20-20 world cup.
BCCI should send sachin for Twenty-20 world cup. B'cos we want india to win this cup. & Sachin is top scorer in last 3 series.he is the only inform & consistant batsman these days. Do doubt that Sachin is still The Best. that he al ready prooved in last series.no one in indian team near by sachin in last three series.so he shuold be called for Twenty-twenty also. if we want india to win, we need to have sachin in the team.he is the only who can give us victory

Mr. Sharma u all r selfish guys. Now SACHIN is the savior for u. what u think all time HE will prove himself that he is the unique batsman. i have watched in rediff how we regegard this MAN. JUST SHAME YAAR.

Ridiculous. It is fact that most valuable player in England series is Sachin. He has proved very vital in all the recent series. Then what is your problem? Instead, do not you think you people should come out of this negativity??

i am affraid but the way team was selected in scot. match,it is totally defensive move,we can hardely perform with this team.dhoni doesnt seem to have good stategy.picking up agarkar,rp has no meaning,instead j.sharma & y.pathan r better because of their batting skiill in this format(they will concede same or less runs than first two i bet)rohit sharma shd be in team (considering that he is the only century maker in domestic 20 cricket circuit)instead of karthik or gambhir.dissapointing to see dhoni as a new young captain with same old approach. 1)not having faith in youngsters. 2)affraid of taking bold decisions & bit of gambeling 3)not studied format of game properly.eg.utility cricketers are more imp. than single dimension cricketers . moral of the story dont expect too much from dhoni the captain he is too orthodox. here we miss captain like saurav.let me clear that i am aware of the fact that saurav as a captain is a past and shd not become captain again considering his age.but we shd find aggressive & thinking captain like him.not dumb captain like dhoni.

I AM TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOUR VIEWS. THIS IS THE STORY OF TEAM INDIA FOR LAST FEW YEARS. THEY CREATE A SECURITY COVER FOR EACH OTHER AND SUPPORT THEM AT THE TIME OF CRISIS.
PRECISELY SAME HAPPNED WHILE TEAM WAS PICKED FOR UNFORTUNATELY WASHED OUT MATCH. WHY THEN YUSUF, JOGINDER, ROHIT SHARMA IN THE TEAM.
MOREOVER, DHONI DOES NOT LOOK LIKE READY FOR BEING LEADER. HE IS TOO SOFT AND PROTECTIVE ABOUT HIS TEAM AND HIMSELF. ITS TOO DEFENSIVE AND SEEM TO BE INHERITED FROM DRAVID.
HOPE PAK DOES NOT BEAT INDIA BY MORE THAN 51 RUN MARGIN. WITH THE ATTITUDE THE THINK TANK AND CAPTAIN ARE IN, I PER SE DO NOT ACCEPT THEM TO CONVINCINGLY BEAT PAKISTAN. THOUGH PAK IS NOT FAR FROM INDIA ON A GIVEN DAY.

Is that guy really in the playing 11? I can't believe it. Maybe we should go to ipetitions*com and fight against his inclusion. I thought he was an automatic choice in the "All-time Worst 11" out of players that have played minimum 50 matches.
The T20 Format needs much modifications - There is no scope for bowlers & every ball being hit out of the ground doesnt make it much intersting: May be they may try & introduce new systems like only 5/6 wickets per innings as in base ball or the team score may be reduced 10 runs per fall of each wicket which will make the game more interesting to watch.

I agree with you.But i also feel now is the time that different versions of balls will be bowled .Few of the good things has happened with one day cricket 1)slow ball 2)reverse swing 3)floaters (spinners) 4)slow bouncers(shaun pollock demonstrated that in the match with west indies.
Yes one thing is for sure.Any bowler who gets a maiden should get some award and should be kept in par with great bowlers
