This competition b/w BCCI & ICL will surely fill a lot of pockets. The BCCI is sitting on a huge pile of cash & the domestic players were getting peanuts. Finally the domestic players can also earn a decent living!!
Why BCCI is afraid of a competitor? If one has self-confidence and required skills, why should get terrified when a new competitor crept? Is it because the profit share will get reduced? BCCI is supposed to be a non-profit organization. BCCI, be brave and face the competition, shell away the ego, do not get afraid, do not have crooked people on board who has these qualities. Drop all chamchas from the board. Do not look for foreign coaches now - our seniors have now realized that if they do not perform they would be dropped - be it sachin or dhadha or sehwag. Be brave and face competition.
Poor chaps, but at least they have provided some competition and have made BCCI get off their backsides..lets just hope that BCCI does not go back to sleep after this...we need more of this in other sports..way to go..
Now there is enough money and competition in cricket which will take attention of people. The will be demand for good quality cricket in both of the leagues. Its very good for cricket world.
But what about other games! Other games are still as neglected as a sideroad begger. There is also monopoly and no media attention. Now Chakde has created some wave which need to be sustained. Indian sports is very is way behind the world. It needs focus. Money, quality and enjoyment will follow.
As expected the BCCI has hit back at ICL in style.ICL has no class. It will be a below avarage league because the players are leftovers and over the hill stars.whereas BCCI HAS GOT ALL CLASS.LET US SEE HOW LONG THE ICL SURVIVES .ZEE.S ATTEMPTED FLIRTING WITH INDIAN CRICKET IS JUST NOT TAKING OFF

Boss, BCCI has come up with the alternative option (i.e. IPL) only to compete ICL. If not ICL, there wouldnt been an IPL. All money would have gone to politicians sitting in BCCI and their mouth piece. Good alteast ICL has created a competition. Whether ICL survives or not is not the point here.

ICL is nt here to do any gd to indian cricket... Zee sports have no rights of any Cricket matches anymore... so its like they are producing their programming by forming ICL... or else Zee sports wud have to be shut down... coz no cricket, no sport channel in India... its like any tv production house producing for some channel...
Thnx to ICL, the competition it gave to BCCI has shaken the sleeping BCCI. Lets all support ICL by showing intrest in ICL matches and neglect BCCI players so that ICL can give tough competition to BCCI.
Pls stop the talking about cricket always. what is goling for other games like shining women hockey and Footballs. when the sponsores will get around for them and when some big steps will be taken to provide better facilities for the player of theses games.
These player are given food in training camps which is not even of normal standards. the coaches of theses player haven't played enough international games and media is never able to catch lime light activities of these. so pls stop talking about crick as indian in one dayer are not in top 5 teams for almost two years.
ICL is still the leading body in the improvement of cricket. Though BCCI attracts with more mooney than ICL the standards and the inovative thoughts will be missing. Remember it was ICL's idea to start a 20-20 league in india. I still beleave ICL will come out some thing innovative to beat out the monapoly of BCCI in indian cricket...
Whats the use of distributing money all around if there is no infrastructure in place, BCCI does absolutely nothing to improve facilities in existing grounds leave alone making new world class stadiuma. The biggest Dallas of India SHARAD PAWAR and RAJIV SHUKLA are at the helm of affairs in BCCI. God save cricket in India.
