Today is 5 th September i.e Teacher's Day !!! Not Fa"Teacher's" Day that we have to learn from Ganguly !!!
Guys all these cricketers have given so much to indian cricket and now they are at their fag end of their career!! i guess its good to enjoy their cricket instead of lamemting abt their age.. once they retire from the team we may not get to see beautiful cricket from india for a considerable period of time.. so many are pitching for youngsters but i have not seen any young cricketer who are as talenetd as 3 greats..worldcup debacle is a sad thing but we must get over that! its not at all fair to critisise seniors for that!

Only our prayers can win today's match.....otherwise our batsman depend on bowlers & bowlers depend on batsman.....but both do not depend on super fielders....

if u don't have sachin, sourav and rahul in the team then who will like to watch cricket at this stage to analyze talent of so-called youngsters like uttapa, kartik, ranadeb bose.... Cricket has created more hype in india after world cup misery... and due to some senior players like these 3, zaheer, yuvraj and youngster dhoni v r watching cricket... if u drop these guys.. spectators will be dropped in millions of nos

how long they will play see ex of australia after mark waugh,steve waugh ,boon,border retired they have players like ponting,gillchirst,heden and clark .so be optimistic about future.
If a person gets 2-3 messages being reported for abuse, Rediff moderator should not allow the person to post further messages. Or else every message has to be moderated before being posted. Whats Rediff Doing????? seeing all the abusive language go on air????

I think the overall performance of Dravid as a captain has been good & the stats bear this out. The captain is as good as his team. We do have weaknesses in this team, but I feel that Dravid is doing a decent job despite these.
Some crazy Bongs keep speaking highly of dada, but he is past (though very good) & let us not be parochial in our approach.

Vinod, you have given a very correct neutral opinion on this whole issue. Its just these few bong's who are hell bent on twisting facts & paint a very anti-dravid attitude. I am not for Dravid also but feel he is doing a fairly decent job given the team composition.
Dravid aims at too many things but Sachin and Dada will not allow him to achive anything. It's the story of crabs pulling eachother. Any ways good Luck Team India.

another bong going off here ! Have to be negative always. This is also being reflected in the state of affairs of their own state. Pls grow up & think of the nation as a whole & allow progress of the country (Nuke deal being held hostage by CPM)
we must agree that chappell was too big a cricketer to fit in as coach....and sachin is undoubtedly a bigger player and person than chappell...dravid was caught in the middle and like a stunned rabbit couldnt move....ganguly being a lesser player was conveniently sidelined..but undoubtedly dravid was shown up as a weak and timid character during that time

Uthhapa plays well on Flat tracks where Ball does not move !!! In England, when the ball moves and swings, Uthapa might become Masal Dosa !!!
