Karthik is Rubbish. He is useless and failed in this series. Karthik should look at our DADA. Our Dada is the Best player in the team. Dada Rocks...

Abey , Karthik is the only guy who had GUTS to open in swingy conditions in England. ALl those so-called stars backed away...so that they can get comforts of flat pitch/sun/middle order
Dada has lost his run speed..I say Karthik is the pick of Indias tour

hahahahha...i can't stop laughing. There's not even a single remarkable innings Gandguly has played since 2000. And the reason being, the king of off side strokes is no more a good batsman. Thanks to the Aussies, South Africans, West Indians and now English players to ball him short knowing tht Gandguly won't pull a short delivery. The prince of Kolkata is now begger of India as he is struggling to score runs fluently since his batting does not have any variations

2 win we need players , an true patriot players and not just star players. One who wins is a team. A player alone can never win. The BCCI should aim on finding such players, the dedicated ones. v realy dont need the stars. V need players only players an no models.

DRAVID AIMING FOR CONSISTENCY
by sachin honawar on Sep 05, 2007 12:53 PM

Mr Dravid, better aim for consistency in endorsements or advertising campaign, rather than in cricket.
ALL THIS IS " NAATAK " after so much of cricket he still not realised the fact that all players lack consistency.

ganguly is ganguly.... if he is playing for himself there is no problem ...... previously he used to play for his team.... and then he was sacked out..... he was then running from a bad patch but he was playing for his team and then y he was sacked out... now its better for ganguly to play for himself rather than for his team. If ganguly is made the captain he will surely play for his team... runs are important and he is geettinggggg now .. so wahat the probs????

Runs are alright .....thats no problem. Problem is Ganguly himself. He is not a sportsman...he has no spirit...he is selfish and spoils the team spirit too.He runs his co-batsmen out. He has an attitude problem....he belives he is the centre of the cricket world.

You are absolutely right. Uttappa is more attacking player than Sewagh. I dont know why selectors are not giving him even a chance. Is it because if his perfomance aganist srilanka in world cup match which we lost(he havent played a game after that). If so, lots of others shld also be dropped.

Hope India wins today to make it 3-3. It would be a thriller at the 7th ODI.
All the best Team India. Toss, weather & most important dravid's mindset would be crucial today. Minus Bopara & likely flintoff for eng is a plus for India.

hello guys.. where are sachin's critics??? He keeps proving that he's the best. Little master has justified his place in the team.. Not as a normal player, but as a batting legend as always.. And what way to answer his critics and justify his selection as No-1 in Shane Warne's list!!! he's the greatest as ever..

8. when Nelson Mandela stood up to applaud Tendulkar when he smashed a belligerent South African attack comprising of Allan Donald among others for 169 glorious runs? No other Indian batsman except Azharuddin stood up to that attack. Agree?
9. And what about those centuries amidst the desert storms in Sharjah against Australia in 1998 when there was an open talk of some Indian players trying to lose those matches because of bookmakers? And one man fought for his country tooth and nail, and won!
10. How can one forget the 98 against Pakistan in 2003 World Cup? Barry Richards calls it one of the best one-day innings of all time. (Also, Tendulkar was the highest run scorer in 1996 World Cup and was single-handedly instrumental in taking India to the semi-finals), where he was the highest scorer.
11. If you are blaming Tendulkar for India losing the Chennai Test against Pakistan in 1999 by 12 runs in spite of scoring 136 in the SECOND INNINGS with a back that would have made ordinary mortals collapse on the field, then does it deserve to be called the Bible of cricket?
Incidentally, even Sunil Gavaskar scored a magnificent 96 on a vicious turning track in his last Test Innings at Bangalore against Pakistan. We lost that match by a mere 16 runs or so, but does that in anyway diminish a great effort?

Can he one win a match for india alone(he did once only in sharja aganist aus) like Ponting, Hussey Aravinda desilva etc?? Sachin is not the greatest batsman ever..he is one of the best.thats it

1. the magnificent 165 at Chennai in 1992-93 that a 19-year-old Tendulkar scripted against England? And yes, India won that Test by a massive margin. Please go and dig into your archives
2. a 20-year-old Tendulkar winning India the Colombo Test in 1993 by scoring an unbeaten 104 in the second innings? We repeat, in the SECOND INNINGS.
3. Where were the statisticians when Tendulkar scored 142 and 96 in two consecutive Test matches in Lucknow and Bangalore against Sri Lanka to help India win both the games?
4. What have to say about the knock of 155 not out against the rampaging Australians in Chennai after India were looking down in 1998? Wasn't that a 'defining' knock according to you? And once again Sir, that knock has come in the second innings.
5. In Chennai against Steve Waugh's Australians in 2001, with the series tied one-all, Tendulkar's 126 in the first essay held the Indian innings together, something that even Shane Warne acknowledged after the game. And India won that match.
6. The 193 that he scored on a seaming wicket at Leeds, Headingley against England And we all know the match result
7. Also, what have to say about a 19-year-old schoolboy saving India a Test match on a fast, bouncy Perth wicket thanks to a brilliant 148?
Even his first Test hundred, an unbeaten 119 at the Oval in 1990 was a match-saving effort. Comments, please?

U nut?? Joby..do you understand english or should I write in malayalam. Openers give good start and not finish the matches. Matches are finished by middle order like Ponting, Kallis, Lara, Martyn, Dhoni, Inzy, Cairns etc..How many times in the history of ODI's have openers finished the game. Even in that too Sachin stands tall.

Joby..the player who win matches are not openers. How many times Hayden has won it for Australia or Gilchrist or even Jayasurya Kalu etc.. Openers have to give good start and Sachin is the most consistent of them. Therefore he is special. All this match winning is bakwas..You don't understand cricket. Mallus should not comment on cricket.

I mean the no match-winner tag on sachin is a complete Bakwas. He is the greatest of the great. Dont Expect opener to stand till 50th over and then finish off. Also look at our bowling all these years, how can Sachin win Matches alone.
