Ajit Balchandra Agarkar seems to be the favourite whipping boy of all of you! And for no fault of his, in the limited opportunites he has got, he has done well for India!! He was unfairly dropped after the WC and then brought back cos VRV Singh and Munaf were found wanting!! All captains from Azhar, Sachin, Ganguly had faith in him and he always delivered! But he is always dropped but has the fighting spirit to come back by doing well in domestic competitions! I'am a great supporter of Ajit Agarkar and if India has to do well in Australia, they have to persist with Ajit! Even yesterday, he got the wicket of the dangerous Nick Cook and also had Bell but Ganguly miffed a simple catch! Which means he could have got 2 wickets!! So right now he is India's best bowler in terms of number of wickets taken and also average per match at 1.5 is highest among all Indian bowlers who have played more than 100 ODIs!!

whatever u said is wright bu my friend once he takes four wickets in a match, he ensures his place for another 2 to 3 games and then he disappoints with below average displays ( He is good but not consistant). I think he supposed to be an All Rounder is he?

Remember all of us are Indians first. It doesn't matter Sachin performs or not. It is foolish to rely on a single person to win a match. The team effort is what we need. If Sachin scores a centuary and other members of the team don't perform, we won't win. If Sachin scores a zero but contributes in team effort by saving vital runs, taking catches or bowling good, the result is we win. It is the team effort that ensures victory not the individual performance. Let us hope, Indian team plays in unison to win the remaining matches.
-------------------- coz he could nt hit a century, genorosly he gifted 160 odd runs to english players to hit their own centuries...what a generosity, gandhigiri player..

i dont know why this agarkar is getting selected into final 11..munaf is better than agarkar..agarkar is getting wickets but at the same time he is feeding and helping opponents..he is only becos of foolishness of selectors and recommendations..can any body agree that he is a fast bowler of international standards..whats his runup..whats his bowling attitude..he is not having any killer instinct wat a fast bowler needs..hey selectors wake up..pickup good genuine fast bowler..drop this knidaa recommendation candidates...

Hey.. don't talk good of Munaf. He can bowl only for 4 overs, after that he will complain of some cramp or he would have pulled some muscle. His fielding is PATHETIC and doesn't even know how to hold the bat.
People - don't start fighting about the performance of Maharashtrians Vs. Others - And please please DON'T criticize Sachin. He has been rated #1 in Warne's top 10. If the World's top leg spinner has to say something - I believe it means something!
